NATIONAL ANTHEM VIDEO - ROYAL

Tomorrow is the Persian "Sizdeh Bedar" which basically means "ridding yourself of bad luck" (throwing out the unlucky 13). People go into the countryside on picnics and have customs like unmarried girls tying a knot in grass to ensure finding and keeping a husband. Also wheat grass grown by families over the New Year March 20/21) is thrown in to flowing water to carry away the previous year. Though originally it was placed in dry areas to entice rain.

By the way - For Persian Farsi speakers go to MY Video or MultiLingual PAGES (links in left column) to watch Ahmadi-Nejad have a chat with his wife!
