ISNA is an official Islamic Iranian New Agency and their English could be better and the truth of their comments and opinions is highly questionable! Their DISinformation is aimed BOTH at the Iranian populace and foreign viewers. This often results in different versions of the same news in Farsi and in English.

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Prosecutor General Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei said the country has arrested two foreign nationals who conducted an interview with the son of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani who was sentenced to death following killing her husband and adultery.

"Two nationals of a foreign country conducted an interview with son of Ashtiani, but investigations showed that the two individuals were not reporters or at least they did not carry any official credentials confirming they are reporters," Ejei told a press conference.

"Initial explorations show that the two people entered Iran as tourists and asked certain questions from Sakineh Mohammad's son, but they are now detained."

Also regarding the abduction of a driver alleged to be a nuclear scientist, Ejei said, "he is not a scientist, he was a welder, but he then left his job and chose to work on a lorry, but then kidnapped by evil-doers."

The Head of Justice Department of central Iranian city of Esfahan Gholam Reza Ansari has already dismissed report on link between abduction of an Iranian individual with Jundullah terrorist group.

Ansari confirmed reports on Amir Hossein Shirani's abduction, but rejected news report on link between the hostage-taking operation and Jundullah terrorist group.

He denied claim that Shirani has been one of employees of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).

"Abduction of Amir Hossein Shirani seems to be related to private financial disagreements with drug smugglers of southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan and has nothing to do with Jundullah group," Ansari told ISNA.

Jundullah terrorist group has released a statement claiming that it has abducted one of the nuclear employees of Iranian city of Isfahan.

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said the case of two German nationals would be pursued in framework of law and judicial system.

The two foreign nationals were captured in Iran following an interview with the son of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani who was accused of killing her husband and adultery.

"The issue of the two German nationals would be pursued in framework of law and judicial system," Mottaki said in a meeting with his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle on the sidelines of Friends of Democratic Pakistan meeting at European Council Headquarters in Brussels on Friday.

Westerwellle on his part referred to the two arrested German nationals who entered Iran with tourist visa but captured after the unconventional measure and called for Islamic compassion about them.

Westerwellle then turned to Iran's nuclear issue and called the country's agreement on talks with P5+1 a "constructive and positive approach" and expressed hope such dialogue could present new opportunities to the two sides.

This was the third meeting of the two officials over recent years.

"Unfortunately, P5+1 lost the chance of New York for talks at ministerial level, however October or November can be a good time for negotiation," Mottaki said referring to the UN General Assembly meeting in New York in September.

Also in a meeting with Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon, Mottaki lashed out at the West double standards on human rights and stressed a change in unfair international structures.

He said, "Canada's sponsorship of human rights resolution against Iran over recent years is a politically-motivated measure."

He emphasized respect for viewpoints of other religions and cultures and rapped the West for imposition of human rights views which is based on liberal democracy.

Canadian Foreign Minister on his part called for banning drug transit from Afghanistan and said the two countries can work on the issue closely.

Also in another session with Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu, the two sides stressed expansion of ties in all fields.
