ALSO consider this book of Soviet KGB activity - including some 40-pages on Iran leading up to and at the time of the Revolution.
"The World Was Going Our Way"
The KGB and the Battle for The Third World by Christopher Andrew & Vasili Mitrokhin (Head of KGB Archives for about 25-years).
Worth reading for non-intelligence community people but quite disappointing for those in the know. Mitrokhin's material leaves a lot to be desired and Andrew had access only to the stuff cleared by SIS, and he destroyed much of this.
