ISLAMIC IRANIAN CLERICS LEAVING IRAN FOR IRAQ

Complaining of pressure by the supporters of the "coup" of Mullah Ali Khamenei and his sons and "illegitimate" president Ahmadi-Nejad and fearing for their safety, a growing stream of clerics in the holy city of Qom are moving to the holy Shia city of Najaf in Iraq, where the Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani can be found, who had one of his assistants in Qom to monitor events and who appears to support Ahmadi-Nejad's opponents. Currently the theological schools in Qom have been closed down for at least two months as their Mullah teachers will be away. Probably for a longer absence.
