Citizen grand jury indicts Obama Groups in 20 more states reviewing eligibility claims Posted: March 31, 20098:35 pm Eastern By Bob Unruh© 2009 WorldNetDaily Orly Taitz President Obama has been named in dozens of civil lawsuits alleging he is not eligible to be president, with one man even filing a criminal complaint alleging the commander-in-chief is a fraud, and now a citizen grand jury in Georgia has indicted the sitting president. The indictment delivered to state and federal prosecutors yesterday is one of the developments in the dispute over Obama's eligibility to be president under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that presidents be "natural born" citizens. Orly Taitz, a California attorney working on several of the civil actions, also announced she has filed another Quo Warranto case in the District of Columbia, where, she told WND, the statutes acknowledge that procedure. The Quo Warranto claim essentially calls on Obama to explain by what authority he has assumed the power of the presidency. (Story continues below) Georgia resident Carl Swensson, whose work is detailed on his RiseUpForAmerica.org website, told WND he got tired of the issues over Obama's eligibility, as well as his performance in office. "I took it upon myself to find as many patriots as I could across the state, for the purpose of seating 25 for a grand jury," he said. Over the weekend the jurors took sworn testimony from several sources, including Taitz, and then generated an indictment that later was forwarded to the U.S. attorney, the state attorney general and others in law enforcement across the state. Swensson cites on his website as authority for the grand jury the Magna Carta, the bill of rights that formed the foundation of British common law on which U.S. law is based. He said the members were chosen, sworn in and observed all of the rules of procedure. Swensson declined to elaborate on the specific allegations about Obama, telling WND that remains confidential at this point because of the possibility of a prosecution. However, the website explanation of the procedure includes some intimidating language. "If the government does not amend the error within 40 days after being shown the error, then the four members shall refer the matter to the remainder of the grand jury," it says. "The grand jury may distrain and oppress the government in every way in their power, namely, by taking the homes, lands, possessions, and any way else they can until amends shall have been made according to the sole judgment of the grand jury." Swensson said the indictments were delivered to the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, state officials and leaders of the Georgia Senate and House. He told WND that since the action in Georgia, he's been contacted by groups in at least 20 other states who want to pursue a similar action. Meanwhile, Taitz told WND she has forwarded to U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Taylor in Washington, D.C., a request for the U.S. to relate Quo Warranto "on Barack Hussein Obama, II to test his title to president." Named as plaintiffs in the action are nine military or legislative leaders, including Allen C. James, currently on active duty in the U.S. Army in Iraq. Others include several retired military leaders as well as elected state representatives. "Relators request that as U.S. Attorney, you institute a Quo Warranto proceeding against Obama under DC Code § 16-3502, and demand that Obama show clear title, proving, with clear and convincing evidence, that he had qualified as president elect," Taitz told Taylor. "By each relator's constitutional oath of office, and interest above other citizens and taxpayers, relators submit that they have standing," Taitz wrote. "In arguendo of Respondent Obama's burden of proof, motions are submitted requesting mandamus on Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle for evidence, and on Sec. State Hillary Rodham Clinton for evidence and to request evidence from Britain and the Republics of Kenya, Indonesia and Pakistan," Taitz said. Taitz, who is working on her cases through the Defend Our Freedoms Foundation, cites a legal right established in British common law nearly 800 years ago and recognized by the U.S. Founding Fathers to demand documentation that may prove – or disprove – Obama's eligibility to be president. She previously submitted a similar case to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. The legal phrase essentially means an explanation is being demanded for what authority Obama is using to act as president. An online constitutional resource says Quo Warranto "affords the only judicial remedy for violations of the Constitution by public officials and agents." John Eidsmoe, an expert on the U.S. Constitution now working with the Foundation on Moral Law, said the demand is a legitimate course of action. "She basically is asking, 'By what authority' is Obama president," he told WND. "In other words, 'I want you to tell me by what authority. I don't really think you should hold the office.' President Obama "She probably has some very good arguments to make," Eidsmoe said. WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President." Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time. Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born. Several of the civil cases already have involved emergency appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court in which justices have declined even to hear arguments. Eidsmoe said it's clear that Obama has something in the documentation of his history, including his birth certificate, college records and other documents, "he does not want the public to know." What else could be the reason for his hiring law firms across the nation to fight any request for information as basic as his Occidental College records from the early 1980s, he asked. According to the online Constitution.org resource: "The common law writ of quo warranto has been suppressed at the federal level in the United States, and deprecated at the state level, but remains a right under the Ninth Amendment which was understood and presumed by the Founders, and which affords the only judicial remedy for violations of the Constitution by public officials and agents." According to author Chester Antieau in his "The Practice of Extraordinary Remedies," Quo Warranto is one of the oldest rights in common law. "The earliest case on record appears in the 9th year of Richard I, 1198," he wrote. "The statute of 9 Anne c. 20 in 1710 authorized a proper officer of a court, with leave of the court, to exhibit an information in the nature of quo warranto, at the 'relation' of any person desiring to prosecute the same – to be called the relator. Early American statutes were modeled after the Statute of Anne and, indeed, the statute has often been ruled to be part of the common law we inherited from England." Antieau noted the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled, "Quo warranto is addressed to preventing a continued exercise of authority unlawfully asserted, rather than to correct what has already been done. ..." Its first recognized purpose, he said, is "to determine the title of persons claiming possession of public offices and to oust them if they are found to be usurpers." Among those who are subject to its demands, under court precedent, are chief executives in other U.S. governmental positions, including governors and sheriffs. As WND has reported on several occasions, none of the so-called "evidence" of Obama's constitutional eligibility produced thus far is beyond reasonable doubt nor as iron-clad as simply producing an authentic birth certificate, something Americans are required to do regularly but the president still refuses to do. Adding fuel to the fire is Obama's persistent refusal to release documents that could provide answers. While his supporters cite an online version of a "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii, critics point out such documents actually were issued for children not born in the state. As Jerome Corsi, WND senior staff writer, explained, "The main reason doubts persist regarding Obama's birth certificate is this question: If an original Hawaii-doctor-generated and Hawaii-hospital-released Obama birth certificate exists, why wouldn't the senator and his campaign simply order the document released and end the controversy? "That Obama has not ordered Hawaii officials to release the document," Corsi writes, "leaves doubts as to whether an authentic Hawaii birth certificate exists for Obama." Obama officials repeatedly have declined comment, relenting only one time to call such allegations "garbage." WND also has reported that Taitz' appeals have been submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Justice Department, where officials confirmed they received the paperwork. WND reported earlier on a proposal by U.S. Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., and the criticism he's taking for suggesting that the issue be avoided in the future by having presidential candidates supply their birth certificate. California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters. "If Mr. Obama is not constitutionally eligible to serve as president of the United States, then no act that he takes is, arguably, valid, the laws that he signs would not be valid, the protective orders that he signs would be null and void, and every act that he takes would be subject to legal challenge, both in courts of the United States of America, and in international courts, and that, therefore, it is important for the voters to know whether he, or any candidate for president in the future, is eligible to serve in that office," the case explained.

Why? After thinking hard about this, AntiMullah came to the conclusion that they would be there to guard something so precious or contrary to USA safety that the risk was too great and also concluded the precious cargo could be an EMP nuclear bomb that causes humans no physical harm but totally fries all electronic circuits. We shouted our warnings to all who would listen (and some who did not) and asked them to pass the potential danger up their food chain till it reached someone who could prevent it. Ahmadi-Nejad could be delivering his speech when his private aircraft took off and at 40,000 feet exploded an EMP (Iran has the technology plus enough fissionable material and has had it for quite some time) to do this. Those on board would likely be killed but so what if this crippled all financial, transport, communications, shipping,vehicular traffic, computers etc., etc. in the New York region. The bad guy would have deniability in that these were rogue operatives and he had no part in it. The least nefarious explanation was that the aircraft had communication monitoring equipment on board and wanted to examine the New York area, specially the airport area where it would be parked. Luckily caution prevailed and the islamic iranian private aircraft and guards were not given permissioon to land. If I remember correctly the Mullah president consequently cancelled his trip. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The danger I see looming is the scenario of America as the last man standing. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe (and an Islamic Middle East and an Islamic Far East). In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: who lost Europe ? Patriots from around Europe risk their lives every day to prevent precisely this scenario from becoming a reality. My short lecture consists of 4 parts. First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I will say a few things about Islam. Thirdly, if you are still here, I will talk a little bit about the (Fitna) movie you just saw. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem. The Europe you know is changing. You have probably seen the landmarks. The Eiffel Tower and Trafalgar Square and Rome's ancient buildings and maybe the canals of Amsterdam . They are still there. And they still look very much the same as they did a hundred years ago. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world, a world very few visitors see and one that does not appear in your tourist guidebook. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration. All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe. These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city. There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe .. With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule. Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille and Malmo in Sweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities. In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the word farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal (Moslem approved) food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear "whore, whore". Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin. In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin .. The history of the Holocaust can in many cases no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity. In England (Londonistan) sharia (Moslem religous) courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Moslem Ramadan. Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel . I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization. A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe . San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century. Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France .. One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide Moslem caliphate (world rule). A Dutch study reported that half of Dutch Muslims admit they "understand" the 9/11 attacks. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. Our elites are willing to give in. To give up. In my own country we have gone from calls by one cabinet member to turn Muslim holidays into official state holidays, to statements by another cabinet member, that Islam is part of Dutch culture, to an affirmation by the Christian-Democratic attorney general that he is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if (when) there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey. Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. Some prefer to see these as isolated incidents, but I call it a Muslim intifada in Europe. I call the perpetrators "settlers". Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies, they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers. (Alan note: like the Taazi "Arab" Mullah regime/invaders in islamic iran, which Oba-Hussein-Khomeini is emulating in America. Also more than likely a settler himself. Ayatollah Rouhallah Khomeini had not even ONE drop of Persian/Iranian blood in his veins from either his Kashmiri mother nor his Bristol, England born and bred father) Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Politicians shy away from taking a stand against this creeping sharia. They believe in the equality of all cultures. Moreover, on a mundane level, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored. Our many problems with Islam cannot be explained by poverty, repression or the European colonial past, as the Left claims. Nor does it have anything to do with Palestinians or American troops in Iraq. The problem is Islam itself. Allow me to give you a brief Islam 101. The first thing you need to know about Islam is the importance of the book of the Quran. The Quran is Allah's personal word, revealed by an angel to Mohammed, the prophet. This is where the trouble starts. Every word in the Quran is Allah's word and therefore not open to discussion or interpretation. It is valid for every Muslim and for all times. (Alan note: and the Koran has existed forever within Allah and was not created but has been there for all times, thus not open to revision). Therefore, there is no such a thing as moderate Islam. Sure, there are a lot of moderate Muslims. But a moderate Islam is non-existent. The Quran calls for hatred, violence, submission, murder, and terrorism. The Quran calls for Muslims to kill non-Muslims, to terrorize non-Muslims and to fulfill their duty to wage war: violent jihad. Jihad is a duty for every Muslim, Islam is to rule the world by the sword. The Quran is clearly anti-Semitic, describing Jews as monkeys and pigs. The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. He advised on matters of slavery, but never advised to liberate slaves. Islam has no other morality than the advancement of Islam. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad. There is no gray area or other side. Quran as Allah's own word and Mohammed as the perfect man are the two most important facets of Islam. Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies. This is what you need to know about Islam, in order to understand what is going on in Europe .. (Alan note: and taking root in the USA with a huge impetus forward by Oba-Hussein and his cohorts, partly to repay the huge funding they received from Moslem sources). For millions of Muslims the Quran and the life of Mohammed are not 14 centuries old, but are an everyday reality, an ideal, that guide every aspect of their lives. Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam "the most retrograde force in the world", and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. Which brings me to my movie, Fitna. I am a lawmaker, and not a movie maker. But I felt I had the moral duty to educate about Islam. The duty to make clear that the Quran stands at the heart of what some people call terrorism but is in reality jihad. I wanted to show that the problems of Islam are at the core of Islam, and do not belong to its fringes. Now, from the day the plan for my movie was made public, it caused quite a stir, in the Netherlands and throughout Europe .. First, there was a political storm, with government leaders, across the continent in sheer panic. The Netherlands was put under a heightened terror alert, because of possible attacks or a revolt by our Muslim population. The Dutch branch of the Islamic organization Hizb ut-Tahrir declared that the Netherlands was due for an attack. Internationally, there was a series of incidents. The Taliban threatened to organize additional attacks against Dutch troops in Afghanistan, and a website linked to Al Qaeda published the message that I ought to be killed, while various muftis in the Middle East stated that I would be responsible for all the bloodshed after the screening of the movie. In Afghanistan and Pakistan the Dutch flag was burned on several occasions. Dolls representing me were also burned. The Indonesian President announced that I will never be admitted into Indonesia again, while the UN Secretary General and the European Union issued cowardly statements in the same vein as those made by the Dutch Government. I could go on and on. It was an absolute disgrace, a sell-out. A plethora of legal troubles also followed, and have not ended yet. Currently the state of Jordan is litigating against me. Only last week there were renewed security agency reports about a heightened terror alert for the Netherlands because of Fitna. Now, I would like to say a few things about Israel . Because, very soon, we will get together in its capital. The best way for a politician in Europe to lose votes is to say something positive about Israel . The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I, however, will continue to speak up for Israel . I see defending Israel as a matter of principle. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel . First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense. Samuel Huntington writes it so aptly: "Islam has bloody borders". Israel is located precisely on that border. This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia . Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War. The war against Israel is not a war against Israel . It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming. Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West. It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel , they can get everything. Therefore, it is not that the West has a stake in Israel .. It is Israel. It is very difficult to be an optimist in the face of the growing Islamization of Europe . All the tides are against us. On all fronts we are losing. Demographically the momentum is with Islam. Muslim immigration is even a source of pride within ruling liberal parties. Academia, the arts, the media, trade unions, the churches, the business world, the entire political establishment have all converted to the suicidal theory of multiculturalism. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. The entire establishment has sided with our enemy. Leftists, liberals and Christian-Democrats are now all in bed with Islam. This is the most painful thing to see: the betrayal by our elites. At this moment in Europe's history, our elites are supposed to lead us. To stand up for centuries of civilization. To defend our heritage. To honor our eternal Judeo-Christian values that made Europe what it is today. But there are very few signs of hope to be seen at the governmental level. Sarkozy, Merkel, Brown, Berlusconi; in private, they probably know how grave the situation is. But when the little red light goes on, they stare into the camera and tell us that Islam is a religion of peace, and we should all try to get along nicely and sing Kumbaya. They willingly participate in, what President Reagan so aptly called: "the betrayal of our past, the squandering of our freedom." If there is hope in Europe , it comes from the people, not from the elites.. Change can only come from a grass-roots level. It has to come from the citizens themselves. Yet these patriots will have to take on the entire political, legal and media establishment. Over the past years there have been some small, but encouraging, signs of a rebirth of the original European spirit. Maybe the elites turn their backs on freedom, the public does not. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat to our national identity. I don't think the public opinion in Holland is very different from other European countries. Patriotic parties that oppose jihad are growing, against all odds. My own party debuted two years ago, with five percent of the vote. Now it stands at ten percent in the polls. The same is true of all military-minded parties in Europe . They are fighting the liberal establishment, and are gaining footholds on the political arena, one voter at the time. Now, for the first time, these patriotic parties will come together and exchange experiences. It may be the start of something big. Something that might change the map of Europe for decades to come. It might also be Europe's last chance.. This December a conference will take place in Jerusalem . Thanks to Professor Aryeh Eldad, a member of Knesset, we will be able to watch Fitna in the Knesset building and discuss the jihad. We are organizing this event in Israel to emphasize the fact that we are all in the same boat together, and that Israel is part of our common heritage. Those attending will be a select audience. No racist organizations will be allowed. And we will only admit parties that are solidly democratic.. This conference will be the start of an Alliance of European patriots. (Alan Note: the USA Tea Parties are the nascent beginnings of a similar movement - though Oba-Hussein ruining America is the primary motivation) This Alliance will serve as the backbone for all organizations and political parties that oppose jihad and Islamization. For this Alliance I seek your support. This endeavor may be crucial to America and to the West. America may hold fast to the dream that, thanks to its location, it is safe from jihad and sharia. But seven years ago to the day, there was still smoke rising from ground zero, following the attacks that forever shattered that dream. Yet there is a danger even greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome , Athens and Jerusalem . Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe 's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot (honorably) strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so. This is not the first time our civilization is under threat. We have seen dangers before. We have been betrayed by our elites before. They have sided with our enemies before. And yet, then, freedom prevailed. These are not times in which to take lessons from appeasement, capitulation, giving away, giving up or giving in. These are not times in which to draw lessons from Mr. Chamberlain.. These are times calling us to draw lessons from Mr. Churchill and the words he spoke in 1942: "Never give in, never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

There is no Social Security Administration or Department of Social and Health Services where you can go to receive welfare, food stamps or high quality free medical care. How would you “throw off the chains” if you can’t even own a weapon for self defense in case of enemy invasion? The scenario I just painted is routine daily life in the capital city of Tehran and other cities like Isfahan and Shiraz. Director Blair apparently thought about this quite a lot and concluded, “We can’t put them out on the street.” It must be very hard for our enemies to fully understand American liberals. Try to put yourself in their shoes for a moment: First, you are captured on the battlefield where you are trying to kill U.S. soldiers. Then you are imprisoned at GITMO and immediately provided expert medical attention and better nutrition than ever before. Soon lawyers from some of Washington’s most prestigious law firms offer to represent you free of charge. Then a president is elected who went to a “church” for 20 years whose pastor loved to shout “God Damn America” from the pulpit. Finally, you are told that the president intends to release you inside the country you dream will be destroyed some day, and the Director of National Intelligence wants you to be paid a stipend by those dreadful infidel taxpayers so that you can adjust to your new life. And just last week, that same president was floating the idea of taking away some health benefits from the soldiers who captured you! In fact, some soldiers wounded in action in the war zones WERE HANDED BILLS for the treatment they received! While I ponder the meaning of all this tonight, I intend to stop by Arlington National Cemetery for a reality check. And ruminate on the far more dangerous ENEMY WITHIN our own Obama House.

Thanks, Hill. You're a sweetheart. Pakistan: With viral corruption throughout and Islamist fanatics sweeping half of its territory, Pakistan's coming apart. Poland: Obama's stance on our bravest ally on the European continent? The Russians are more important than you are. He's sending the same message to Ukraine and Georgia. Russia: Bolshie Biden, the commuting commissar, knows he's the man who can turn Russia into our best pal. After "Friend of Bill" Strobe Talbott tried and failed disastrously. And after poor W saw into Putin's soul, only to get his butt handed to him. "Uncle Joe" Biden has nothing to learn from past failures, though: He's got a re-set button. At what point does naivete become cowardice? As for our allies, Obama apparently needs them less than Bush did. O treated Britain's prime minister like the deputy Paraguayan veterinary inspector, and he blindsided the leaders of the Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico and Canada on issues ranging from missile defense to trade. But he'd like them to take the Gitmo terrorists off our hands, please. The one bright spot thus far has been Iraq, where Obama quickly tossed aside his campaign promises. The O-man doesn't want to be on the blame-line for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in Baghdad. And his MoveOn.org supporters can throw all the tantrums they want. Obama wants a civilian security force as powerful as the Department of Defense. By TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty When President Barack Hussein Obama campaigned for the White House, he promised he would establish a civilian security force that would be as fully-funded as the Department of Defense. Here is what he promised CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO during a speech in Colorado Springs on July 2, 2008: "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set (who is "we"? The Communists, Soros of islamic jihad?). Oba-Hussein: We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Obama wants a civilian security force as powerful and as well-funded as the Department of Defense? Would that include giving this security force weapons – like rifles, helicopters, and missile launchers? The groundwork for this civilian army controlled by Obama was accomplished in the Senate on March 25. The Obama-compliant U.S. Senate passed the Serve America Act (S. 3487), which is being portrayed as a way of encouraging volunteerism in America. It is sponsored by extreme liberal Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA). This bill creates a National Service Reserve Corps that allegedly is only for aiding in national disasters and other emergencies. It will use colleges and universities as bases of operation for training students to “serve” their communities. S. 3487 will use these volunteers to assist non-profits, faith-based groups and other civic organizations to improve “the capacity of such organizations.” In other words, to help liberal nonprofits like the nefarfious ACORN to promote Obama’s social agenda. Obama supporters in Alabama are campaigning throughout Birmingham for passage of Obama’s $9.3 trillion dollar spending binge. The organizers are part of Organizing for America. A leader of this group is Chris DeHaven. He told his volunteers: “We’re looking for supporters. We’re not looking for a fight. That will come later, when we have an army.” It appears that Obama and his lockstep Congress have given DeHaven the uniformed army he wants. House Version For Civilian Security Army The House also passed H.R. 1388. This is worse than the Senate version. If elements of this bill are added to the Senate version, it will give Obama the basis for creating his civilian security force – a Brown Shirts army. T he House legislation reauthorizes the National and Community Service Act of 1990 and the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973. H.R. 1388’s official title is: “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism And Education Act (GIVE Act). H.R. 1388 authorizes new studies and programs with an allocation of $6 billion over the next five years, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). Think of it: $6 billion to train people to volunteer. (By force if need be?) The legislation appears to be laying the ground work for Obama’s goal of having 250,000 “volunteers” who will engage in community involvement activities. In fact, Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel may have laid the groundwork for this civilian security force. In 2006, Emanuel wrote a book called The Plan. On pages 60-65, he calls for universal conscription of 18-25 year olds for civilian service! “All Americans between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five will be asked to serve their country by going through three months of basic training, civil defense preparation and community service.” H.R. 1388 discusses “volunteerism” but also indicates that there might be mandatory participation in these activities. It states “if all individuals in the United States were expected to perform national service or were required to perform a certain amount of national service.” This requirement, “would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.” These conscripts or “volunteers” would be: … grouped together as appropriate in campuses for operational, support, and boarding purposes. The Corps campus for a unit shall be in a facility or central location established as the operational headquarters and boarding place for the unit. … There shall be a superintendent for each camp." (Brain washing forced labor camp)? The legislation also refers to these volunteers wearing “uniforms” and discusses the need for a public service academy – a four-year institution that would train “public sector leaders.” Under Subtitle E – The National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), this bill sets up a residential community service program for young adults ages 14-24. It requires that at least 50% of the participants be disadvantaged youth from ethnically diverse backgrounds. (Non-whites?) H.R. 1388 will establish an army of uniformed “volunteers” or conscripts, who will engage in public sector work. These uniformed Obamunists would be used for “pressing national and local challenges.” (Disobedience of Oba-Hussein-Khomeini) What would those be? Going house to house to confiscate guns? Tracking down individuals accused of hate speech? Rounding up “volunteers” to be put into labor camps? Would these Obama Brown Shirts* look like the young teenagers who marched into a classroom chanting “Alpha and Omega” and describing how Obama was going to transform their lives? This army of 250,000 uniformed “volunteers” could be used to intimidate anyone opposed to Obama’s socialist agenda. Hitler’s Brown Shirts (Sturmabteilung – SA) was founded by Adolf Hitler in 1921. Members of the Brown Shirts were disadvantaged youth. From 1931, the Brown Shirts was operated by Ernst Rohm, an anti-capitalist. The problem is that the letter was addressed to the former President of France, Jacques Chirac, and not to the actual President of France, Nicholas Sarkozy. It contained a letter from a renowned expert, Sandra Line, stating that there are signs of forgery in Obama’s short version Certification of Live Birth, and that the original birth certificate needs to be reviewed in order to ascertain his status. Roughly 5,000 people on all the campuses had an opportunity to hear what Dr. Taitz had to say. Chief Justice Roberts stated to her, “I will read your documents, I will review them. Give them to my Secret Service Agent and I will review them.” His Secret Service Agent approached her and told Dr. Taitz, “Give me all the documents, I promise you Justice Roberts will get them.” She had a full suitcase of documents. The agent went to look for a box, and after he found a large box to fit all the documents, he showed her his badge and introduced himself as Gilbert Shaw, Secret Service Agent assigned to the security of Chief Justice Roberts. Dr. Taitz made her presentation in front of 800 people in the audience, including university officials, the president of the Idaho State Bar and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Idaho, and in front of all them, Chief Justice promised to read her papers. Attorneys Mario Apuzzo, Dr. Orly Taitz and Phillip Berg are asking various Courts for “Quo Warranto”. The legal phrase Quo Warranto essentially means an explanation is being demanded for what authority Obama is using to act as President. An online constitutional resource says Quo Warranto “affords the only judicial remedy for violations of the Constitution by public officials and agents.” The Obama campaign is the greatest theft of a great Nation, America. It is the greatest fraud in American history. He is the greatest con man in American history. The major media in America is a willing participant in this fraud. American politicians are either willingly participating or ignoring the truth in front of their noses. The American election system is being made a mockery of to the World. Jesse Merrell told WND he was reacting to Judge James Robertson's decision to throw out a case challenging Obama's eligibility because the issue had been thoroughly "twittered." Merrell sarcastically gave the judge a "good-for-you." "How dare people use a flimsy thing like the Constitution to darken your sanctimonious door!" he wrote to the judge. "The insane idea that a blue-gum baboon slashing our Constitution has to prove U.S. citizenship – as our silly old Constitution demands – is too absurd to consider in the sacred chambers of the tiny tin gods of the Potomac, adorning the royal purple and sipping Jim Jones Kool-Aid. "Thanks to smug, slimy shysters like you, Obama gets a free ride – snootily stomping on our foolish Constitution, which supercilious idiots like you have long ago shredded for their own stupid opinions!" Merrell continued in the letter, a copy of which he provided to WND. He finished with his speculation on what "ought" to happen to the judge, a physical act not appropriate for a family-oriented report. A short time later, he said he found two U.S. marshals on his doorstep. "After reading your story about Federal Judge James Robertson dismissing a suit challenging Obama's natural born citizenship, and suggesting sanctions, I wrote him a very critical letter," Merrell told WND. "Two U.S. marshals came to visit me, making threats to silence me. "I told them unless the First Amendment had been repealed, or they had a warrant for my arrest, we had nothing to discuss," he continued. "But they insisted on coming in, and making further threats. "I responded with another letter, with firm language, but nothing I haven't used for 30 years, and quoting Thomas Jefferson's warning to bind judges with the 'chains of the Constitution' to prevent mischief." WND called the U.S. marshals service for comment, but there was no comment on the specific case. A WND message left for one of the officers involved also was not returned. A media office spokeswoman who took the message did confirm that "anyone who may write a letter referencing a judge or put something in a letter causing the marshals to be concerned about the well-being of a judge, they would look into it." Merrell told WND his particular dislike of "government tyranny" has existed "since my fourth-great-grandfather, Captain Benjamin Merrell, was hanged – hanged, drawn and quartered – by the British Royal Governor of North Carolina in 1771 for protesting high and unjust taxes." "I told your Gestapo goons, of course, that unless the First Amendment had been repealed, or they were there to arrest me, that we had nothing to talk about.," Merrell's letter said ."One of your Brown-Shirt Nazi bullies, however, could not resist threatening me with some obscure law – one he didn't know where it was, or when it was created – which he said made it a crime to say something that caused a federal judge 'emotional distress.' "Emotional distress? What unbelievably unadulterated horses---!" Merrell wrote. "What about the repulsive, stomach-turning 'emotional distress' you black-robed baboons speciously dish out to the American people daily – haughtily spitting on our precious Constitution with your nauseating, decency-stomping, judicial-jack--- slobber! "If it is illegal for a Constitution-loving citizen to chastise a Constitution-scorning judge, who has spitefully spat on America's consecrated moral bedrock, then the slimy, steel-laden tentacles of unspeakable tyranny are already wrapped tightly around helpless citizens – awaiting the final hideous strangulation. "But not as long as one end of my red-blooded tongue is loose!" Merrell's letter said. He put the challenge directly to the judge: "The Constitution clearly states, with no possible ambiguity – in Article 2, Section 1 – that 'No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President,'" he wrote. "America is going down the drain – economically and Constitutionally, with terrorists and illegal aliens pouring across our borders like invading armies practically unopposed – but our insufferable, over-bloated, dictatorial government, while turning a blind eye to all that, has time and money to send two high-paid federal marshals – probably $130,000.00 each – to harass a citizen daring to exercise his precious First Amendment rights, which you want to destroy," he wrote. "When you solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution – then loathsomely lacerate and despicably desecrate that hallowed document – perhaps you should fear for your safety, for you have stopped being a dutiful servant of the people, and started arrogating unto yourself the venomous trappings of their tyrannical slave-master," he wrote. "Oh, and my ancestor, Captain Benjamin Merrell, wasn't just hanged – but hanged, drawn and quartered: which means he was hanged, but taken down while yet alive, his abdomen violently sliced open and his entrails cruelly cut out and brutally thrown in his face and set afire...and then his body barbarically slashed into four quarters," Merrell wrote. "So, naturally, I'm more than a little suspicious of dictatorial power such as you brandish. And I'm not alone." WND reported a challenge to the judge from the lawyer handling the case. Robertson threatened attorney John D. Hemenway with sanctions for representing client Gregory S. Hollister. Hollister is a retired military officer subject to being recalled who is demanding to know Obama's eligibility to discern whether any orders from the president would be legal. Robertson dismissed the case, ridiculing questions of eligibility as having already been "blogged, texted, twittered and otherwise massaged." Hollister is represented by Philadelphia lawyer Philip Berg, who has brought several motions on the eligibility dispute to the U.S. Supreme Court that have been ignored. Hemenway acted as local counsel in filing the action on behalf of Hollister. Robertson wrote: "The plaintiff says that he is a retired Air Force colonel who continues to owe fealty to his Commander-in-Chief (because he might possibly be recalled to duty) and who is tortured by uncertainty as to whether he would have to obey orders from Barack Obama because it has not been proven – to the colonel's satisfaction – that Mr. Obama is a native-born American citizen, qualified under the Constitution to be president. "The issue of the president's citizenship was raised, vetted, blogged, texted, twittered, and otherwise massaged by America's vigilant citizenry during Mr. Obama's two-year-campaign for the presidency, but this plaintiff wants it resolved by a court," Robertson wrote. Hemenway has responded with a suggestion that if the judge wants to pursue sanctions, the attorney then would seek a discovery hearing to demand the president's original birth certificate as court procedures would allow. The clients concerns also are valid, he wrote. "These are not frivolous matters, as the learned Judge Robertson has suggested. Possible illegal orders are a matter of great concern to officers in the armed forces. … The legality of orders in and out of combat is of paramount importance," he wrote. The lawyer also criticized the judge for citing hearsay in his court opinion. "It is not helpful for a United States district judge to endorse obfuscation when a constitutional issue is involved. Under these circumstances, to threaten sanctions against an attorney who, in good faith assisted in the filing of a lawsuit involving issues none of the many judges and attorneys from coast to coast have found 'frivolous' is to employ the Rule 11 as a device to deprive the undersigned attorney of his civil rights and the right to due process. Without even a hearing or access to discovery being granted to defend against the charges, such a sanction would be a veritable lynching," Hemenway challenged. "If the court persists in pressing Rule 11 procedures against Hemenway, then Hemenway should be allowed all of the discovery pertinent to the procedures as court precedents have permitted in the past," he said. "The court has referred to a number of facts outside of the record of this particular case and, therefore, the undersigned is particularly entitled to a hearing to get the truth of those matters into the record. This may require the court to authorize some discovery," Hemenway said. WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President." Some of the lawsuits question whether Obama was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time. Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born. Further complicating the issue are the reports he was adopted by an Indonesia man during his childhood and moved to Indonesia and attended school there. There also are questions on what nation's passport he traveled to Pakistan. Lawyers and plaintiffs in a multitude of lawsuits also have asked why, if a birth certificate actually reflects that Obama was born in Hawaii, has he spent sums estimated by observers of up to $1 million hiring various law firms to keep concealed his birth certificate, his college records and other documentation. John Eidsmoe, an expert on the U.S. Constitution now working with the Foundation on Moral Law, told WND a demand for verification of Obama's eligibility appears to be legitimate. Eidsmoe said it's clear that Obama has something in the documentation of his history, including his birth certificate, college records and other documents that "he does not want the public to know."

As does the missing income of billions of windfall profits from the rise in oil prices. Nobody can pinpoint where this money went and how it was spent. Nor will Ahmadi-Nejad provide any clues to what he did with this very large "off budget" income. Supreme Ruler Khamenei put islamically fervent but otherwise a screwball Ahmadi-Nejad into the presidency (via a mock election in 2005) at the bidding of a 12th Imam Hojatieh ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi nicknamed the "crocodile" to take some of the pressure off himself from the growing conservative islamic opposition that had built up during the "softer" Khatami presidency terms. Softer is a relative term since Khatami sent hit squads around the world to assassinate anti-mullah opposition leaders or activists and can ge considered "gentler" the way a certain shark may be less intent on attacking humans compared to the Great White Sharks. Like all the others in the Mullah leadership - he is a killer with little compunction at expending human life to forward his plans. He talked the talk of reform" but never walfked the walk. In all fairness he was given an offer he could not refuse that turned him from a slightly less fanatical islamist inot a totally ineffective leader. In case you missed the article, Supreme Leader Khatami turned him around by threating to have every female of any age gang raped in the Supreme Leader's office in front of Khatami. They had all been brought there en masse, as well as some 40 extra bodyguards. to perform the deed. The Supreme Ruler said: (paraphrase) "you can either work with us and continue fooling the west into thinking we have a democracy or live the rest of your life with the view of all your females, - wife, mother, sister and their children relatives enjoyed forcefully time and again by the extra men I have commanded here to enforce my suggestion. And explain to them why you let this discrace and pain happen, when you could have stopped it." Khatami folded and became a yes-man, losing his younger, mostly student, constituency, who felt betrayed, without knowing why, by his inaction and failure to carry out reforms he had promised. Meanwhile, Supreme Ruler has had in mind to elevate the father of his son's wife, Ali Haddaad Aadel, to the president position but is running into resistance. He might yet succeed, which will consolidate his power structure but will be dooming for the Iranian population struggling for more freedom. A new - or rather repeat - player has wandered onto the scene. His name? Mir Hossein Moussavi, latest candidate for the mullah regime presidency. Before the post of Prime Minister disappeared in islamic iran, Moussavi handled the position for Khomeini and later for the current Supreme Leader Khamenei (don't confuse the two similar names, who held/hold the top dog position). Moussavi has fanatical religious tendencies but does NOT wear a cleric's robes. In fact, often seen in a well taiiored suit. Despite his strong religious beliefs, he has a reputation for being efficient more worldy wise than the "foot-in-mouth" Ahmadi-Nejad. His ruthless Khomeini stint as Prime Minister was labelled the "dark days" and his similar post for Khamenei was cut short when the current Supreme Leader suddenly discharged him - out of some fear of Moussavi's management abilities and possible threat to his boss' status. Khatami's withdrawal stems partially from some threats thrown at him ostensibly by Moussavi that if he persisted with his candidacy, he would end up dead like Benazeer Bhutto in Pakistan. However, the most pertinent reason was not the threat but the lack of votes he would get from those whose support he had lost in his previous presidencies. The increasingly large disenchanted populace who want change (not the disasterous Oba-Hussein-Khomeini type) but who no longer count on Khatami to produce any. The mystery lies with why Khatami has added an endorsement of Moussavi alongside withdrawing, calling him a reformist. Not clearly a historical trait of the harsh former Prime Minister. What comes out in the wash over the next three months will set the trend for the Mullah regime profile and near future policies after their sham elections - that is if Israel fails to ignore the pro-islamic Oba-Hussein administration admonitions and takes necessary action against the islamic regime. That's the Iran situation but what is horrifying at home here in the USA is another Oba-Hussein plan to DENY lifetime treatment to WOUNDED WAR VETERANS. demanding they pay for private insurance for their wounds received in action. Not for other illnesses but SPECIFICALLY stating for their wounds in ACTION. Wounds they suffered defending us, even the mentally skewed Oba-Hussein himself and his Commie sidekicks. America's "Obamination" certainly APPRECIATES our military and wants what's best for them (sarcasm). No wonder there were HALF A MILLION sign ups to sue him to show he is eligible to be in a position to lead them! And to close this, lets take a look at Socialism in a real life, understandable situation. A university class of leftwing American students were adamant that Socialism was the best thing that could happen to society and - as does Obambi - insisted that wealth distribution was fair and just. Nobody would have a lot and nobody would have nothing. Their professor tlold them he would apply Socialism to their grades and average them out as they believed would happen in the redistribution of wealth. The first exam resulted in everyone gettng a "B". The A" students were satisfied with a "B and those who had not studien hard were estatic. After the second exam everyone got a "D". The students who did not work hard expected those at the top to bring their grades up higher and those who normally got an "A" realized they could never get another "A" so failed to work as hard, so the average dropped to the "D". The third and final exam for the semester ended up - for these reasons - with everyone getting a failing "F". The slackers contiued to hope and rely on those at the top who were hard workers and capable and those at the top had no motive to bother. SO EVERYONE got FAILING GRADE. The Obambi stimulus package is the above principle in spades. Also Obambi and Chris Dodd were the greatest recipients of money from AIG and had already built in the clause to allow their benefactors an escape clause to give $160 million in bonuses based on an employee contract exception. Quo Warranto Easterling et al v Obama et al 3. 3300 pages of your names, people that signed WorldNetDaily petition, demanding that the Supreme Court hear Obama elligibility case. 4. Copy of a 164 page dossier and all the other documents sent to Eric Holder, Attorney General, describing suspected criminal activity, associated with Obama and his supporters. It had his school registration from Indonesia under the name Barry Soetoro, citizen of Indonesia, religion Muslim. Right after this page there was a page of Obama’s registration to become an attorney and officer of the court in Illinois, where he stated under oath that his name is Barack Hussein Obama and he had no other prior names. It contained a report from a federal agent Steven Coffman, stating that there are numerous signs of forgery in his Selective Service Certificate. It contained a letter from a renown expert Sandra Line, stating that there are signs of forgery in Obama’s short version Certification of Live Birth, and original birth certificate needs to be reviewed in order to ascertain his status. It contained 130 current job positions for Barry Obama, Barack H. Obama and Michelle Obama, that were obtained from Intellius Jobs.com. None of them were reported on Obamas’ tax returns. All of these documents suggest possible massive tax fraud, corruption of a public official, bribery and massive campaign contributions fraud, whereby large campaign contributions, over allowed limits were reported as fictitious positions with different companies, not surprisingly involving most mainstream media outlets. These need to be reviewed in light of a pattern, I’ve seen previously. For example, as a State Senator Obama arranged for his friend Robert Blackwell from killerspin to get a grant of $320,000 of our taxpayers money for his ping-pong tournaments. In exchange Blackwell gave Obama back roughly a third, $100,000 in the form of a salary. Khamisa Sawadi, who is Syrian but was married to a Saudi, was convicted and sentenced last week for meeting with men who were not her immediate relatives. The two men, including one who was Sawadi's late husband's nephew, were also found guilty and sentenced to prison terms and lashes. Obama's PERFECT Intelligence Choice (by his Communist, pro-Islam, anti-Israel standards) BUT not FOR AMERICA The president picks a China apologist and Israel basher to write his intelligence summaries. And a LOBBYIST for the Saudis. By GABRIEL SCHOENFELD During the presidential campaign, a constant refrain of Barack Obama and other Democratic candidates was that the Bush administration had severely politicized intelligence, resulting in such disasters as the war in Iraq. The irony of course is that, if anything, President Bush badly failed at depoliticizing a CIA that was often hostile to his agenda. Witness the repeated leaks of classified information that undercut his policies. It now appears Mr. Obama has appointed a highly controversial figure to head the National Intelligence Council, which is responsible for producing National Intelligence Estimates. The news Web site Politico.com yesterday reported that it could confirm rumors that a former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Charles "Chas" Freeman Jr., has been appointed chairman. (My calls to the White House and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence produced neither confirmation nor denial.) Without question, Mr. Freeman has a distinguished résumé, having served in a long list of State and Defense Department slots. But also without question, he has distinctive political views and affiliations, some of which are more than eyebrow-raising. In 1997, Mr. Freeman succeeded George McGovern to become the president of the Middle East Policy Council. The MEPC purports to be a nonpartisan, public-affairs group that "strives to ensure that a full range of U.S. interests and views are considered by policy makers" dealing with the Middle East. In fact, its original name until 1991 was the American-Arab Affairs Council, and it is an influential Washington mouthpiece for Saudi Arabia. As Mr. Freeman acknowledged in a 2006 interview with an outfit called the Saudi-US Relations Information Service, MEPC owes its endowment to the "generosity" of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia. Asked in the same interview about his organization's current mission, Mr. Freeman responded, in a revealing non sequitur, that he was "delighted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has, after a long delay, begun to make serious public relations efforts." Among MEPC's recent activities in the public relations realm, it has published what it calls an "unabridged" version of "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy" by professors John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt. This controversial 2006 essay argued that American Jews have a "stranglehold" on the U.S. Congress, which they employ to tilt the U.S. toward Israel at the expense of broader American interests. Mr. Freeman has both endorsed the paper's thesis and boasted of MEPC's intrepid stance: "No one else in the United States has dared to publish this article, given the political penalties that the Lobby imposes on those who criticize it." Unsurprisingly, Mr. Freeman has views about Middle East policy that differ rather sharply from those held by supporters of the state of Israel. More surprisingly, they also differ rather sharply from the views -- or at least the views stated during the campaign -- of the president who has invited him to serve. While President Obama speaks of helping the people of Israel "search for credible partners with whom they can make peace," Mr. Freeman believes, as he said in a 2007 address to the Washington Institute of Foreign Affairs, that "Israel no longer even pretends to seek peace with the Palestinians; it strives instead to pacify them." The primary reason America confronts a terrorism problem today, he continued, is "the brutal oppression of the Palestinians by an Israeli occupation that is about to mark its fortieth anniversary and shows no sign of ending." Although initial reaction to Mr. Freeman's selection has focused on his views of the Middle East, that region is by no means Mr. Freeman's only area of interest. He has pronounced on a wide variety of other subjects, including China, where he has attempted to explain away the scale and scope of the starkly intensive buildup of the People's Liberation Army. The specter of a Chinese threat, he remarked during a China forum at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in October 2006, is nothing more than "a great fund-raiser for the hyper-expensive advanced weaponry our military-industrial complex prefers to make and our armed forces love to employ." On the massacre at Tiananmen Square in 1989, Mr. Freeman unabashedly sides with the Chinese government, a remarkable position for an appointee of an administration that has pledged to advance the cause of human rights. Mr. Freeman has been a participant in ChinaSec, a confidential Internet discussion group of China specialists. A copy of one of his postings was provided to me by a former member. "The truly unforgivable mistake of the Chinese authorities," he wrote there in 2006, "was the failure to intervene on a timely basis to nip the demonstrations in the bud." Moreover, "the Politburo's response to the mob scene at 'Tiananmen' stands as a monument to overly cautious behavior on the part of the leadership, not as an example of rash action." Indeed, continued Mr. Freeman, "I do not believe it is acceptable for any country to allow the heart of its national capital to be occupied by dissidents intent on disrupting the normal functions of government, however appealing to foreigners their propaganda may be." We have already seen a string of poorly vetted appointments from the Obama White House, like those of Tom Daschle and Bill Richardson, that after public scrutiny were tossed under the bus. The chairmanship of the National Intelligence Council differs from those cases, for it does not require Senate confirmation. If someone with such extreme views has been appointed to such a sensitive position, is this a reflection of Mr. Obama's true predilections, or is it proof positive that the Obama White House has never gotten around to vetting its own vetters? Either way, if those complaining loudest about politicized intelligence have indeed placed a China-coddling Israel basher in charge of drafting the most important analyses prepared by the U.S. government, it is quite a spectacle. The problem is not that Mr. Freeman will shade National Intelligence Estimates to suit the administration's political views. The far more serious danger is that he will steer them to reflect his own outlandish perspectives and prejudices.

Lawsuit seeks school records to verify citizenship status By Bob Unruh© 2009 WorldNetDaily A California lawsuit seeking documentation from Occidental College that could verify the nationality under which Barack Obama entered the school points out that the state formerly reviewed presidential candidates and disqualified those who were ineligible. The arguments are raised in paperwork submitted by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, which has brought a lawsuit over Obama's eligibility. Defense lawyers for Obama are trying to quash the request for Occidental records, arguing that any objections to Obama's presidential candidacy and victory should have been raised in Congress at the time of the Electoral College vote. However, according to documentation in the lawsuit, the secretaries of state in California previously have exercised their election authority and have rejected candidates who did not qualify. "As stated in our previous pleadings herein, former California Secretaries of State have taken legal action to remove individuals from the ballot for failure to comply with the eligibility requirements to serve as President of the United States, although, in those cases, the issue had to do with the 'age' requirement, not the 'natural born citizen,'" the USJF said. The filing continued with the warning, "If MR. OBAMA is not constitutionally eligible to serve as President of the United States, then no act that he takes is, arguably, valid, the laws that he signs would not be valid, the protective orders that he signs would be null and void, and every act that he takes would be subject to legal challenge, both in Courts of the United States of America, and in International Courts, and that, therefore, it is important for the voters to know whether he, or any candidate for President in the future, is eligible to serve in that office." The case documents previously explained that in 1968 the Peace and Freedom Party submitted the name of Eldridge Cleaver as a qualified candidate for president, and then-Secretary of State Frank Jordan "found that, according to Mr. Cleaver's birth certificate, he was only 34 years old, one year shy of the 35 years of age needed to be on the ballot as a candidate for president." USJF explained that "using his administrative powers, Mr. Jordan removed Mr. Cleaver from the ballot. Mr. Cleaver unsuccessfully challenged this decision to the Supreme Court of the State of California, and, later, to the Supreme Court of the United States." The USJF said similarly, in 1984, Peace and Freedom Party candidate Larry Holmes was removed from the ballot. Even in the 2008 campaign, foreign-born third-party candidate Roger Calero was removed from ballots in some states, according to elections reports. Obama, meanwhile, has refused to document his U.S. citizenship and, therefore, his eligibility to be president under the Constitution's requirement for a "natural born" citizen, his challengers say. "MR. OBAMA's actions to block any attempt to inquire into his status as a 'natural born citizen' raises questions which must be answered in order to avoid a situation where, perhaps several years in the future, it is discovered that he was not eligible to serve as President of the United States, and, therefore, all of his acts would be null and void, and that the resulting chaos could lead to a constitutional crisis, immobilizing the United States," the USJF said. WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President." Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time. Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.
