SO MUCH FOR OBAMA BEING A CHRISTIAN!

A Pakistani Senior Government Official wants US President Barack Obama to offer Eid prayers at Ground Zero in New York and become the "Amir-ul-Momeineen" or Caliph (leader) of All Muslims.

(Moslem) Minister of State for Industries Ayatullah Durrani, who belongs to the ruling Pakistan People''s Party, said the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival, expected to be observed on September 11, would be a "golden opportunity" for Obama to offer Muslim Eid prayers and declare himself the leader of all Muslims.

"In this way, all the problems of the Muslim world would be solved," Durrani told The Nation newspaper.

Durrani, a former member of the Pakistan Ideological Council, contended that the Muslim world is in "dire need" of a Caliph and occupying this distinguished slot would provide Obama "exemplary titles" like "Mullah Barack Hussain Obama" or "Allama Obama".

He said: "The time is approaching fast. Barack Hussain Obama must act now.This is a golden opportunity, Muslims badly need it."

Obama's elevation to head of the Islamic Caliphate would be the "key to success, he claimed but did not offer any explanation for his remarks.

Many Americans appear to  think Obama is Christian, Moslems clearly know better!

Can you imagine Islam promoting a Christian to be the head of their fanatical religion?

BTW on the subject of Islamic demand for "accomodation" to their customs:

We frequently see examples of Muslims demanding yet more "accommodation" of their religious or cultural "needs".

The recent Disneyland flap resulting from an employee demanding to wear her headscarf while working as a hostess at the Californian hotel is but one example.

Here is a response I have sent to both Disneyland and the Orange County Register. This information might well be widely circulated among ACT! members to use in refuting such demands.

"t is sincerely hoped that Disneyland will not cave in to Ms. Imane Boudlal's demands to wear a headscarf as a hostess at the Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim. Here are some facts which need to be made public:

Sunni Islam has a doctrine known as "taysir" (pronounced "tey-seer") which dismisses Muslims from adhering to all the demands of Islamic law (sharia) when this creates a hardship for them.

Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, perhaps the most authoritative Muslim voice in Sunni Islam today, calls on Muslims "specially in Europe and America" to practice taysir.

Specifically, it allows them to conform outwardly to Western standards while inwardly maintaining loyalty to Sharia.

On a recent episode of the popular Arabic show al-Sharia wa al-Haya (Law and Life), which airs weekly on Al Jazeera and features renowned Muslim scholar Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, he addressed this important yet little known Muslim concept of taysir

Ms. Boudlal does not need to wear her headscarf to be a good Muslim.

It would appear that her demands are possibly simply a ploy to gain attention for herself, or to provide CAIR with yet another chance to demand accommodation for Muslims and play the "victimhood" card ", or to simply "get in the face of the infidels" ....or possibly all three.

ALSO Islamists are demanding that the USA file suit against or block any Blog or publication which is CRITICAL of ISLAM (in any and all of the many sects and flavors of it) AND THUS INSULTS ISLAM because this audacity of opinion and speech is automatically a hate crime!!
