by Bob Unruh
Syphilis, lice, gonorrhea, ringworm, chlamydia, staph, strep, noro and papilloma viruses all are part of the possible fringe benefits when airline passengers next go through a full hands-on pat-down by agents of the federal government's Transportation Security Administration, according to doctors.

WND reported two days ago on alarmed passengers who noted that TSA agents doing the pat-downs that have been described by critics as molestation since they include touching private body parts were not changing gloves between passengers. In fact, some apparently were patting down dozens of passengers or more wearing the same gloves.

But neither the TSA nor federal agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control was willing to comment on the possibilities that infections and other loathsome afflictions could be passed from passenger to passenger.

Now two doctors – and several others – have confirmed that there is the definite possibility that passengers will be able to catch whatever someone in front of them in line was suffering from via the latex gloves TSA workers use.

Join tens of thousands of Americans in a petition demanding action against the intrusive airport screening procedures implemented by Janet Napolitano and send a letter to Congress, President Obama and others telling them exactly what you think about the issue.

"There is no doubt that bacteria (staph, strep, v.cholerae etc.) and viruses (noro, enteroviruses, herpes, hepatitis A and papilloma viruses) can be spread by contaminated vinyl or latex gloves," Dr. Thomas Warner of Wisconsin told WND in a letter to the editor.

"If a traveler has diarrhea and is soiled, as can and does happen, the causative agent can be spread by this method since bacteria and viruses in moist environments have greater viability."

(Story continues below)

He continued. "The traveler readjusting clothes can easily get the infectious agents on their hands and therefore into their mouth, nose or eyes."

Added a pulmonary critical care physician from Connecticut who did not want to be identified by name, "That doesn't make sense that they're not changing gloves."

"Anything can be transmitted. If there are open wounds and they [TSA agents] are not aware, there's syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, chlamydia, lice, ringworm."

Worse yet would be for people whose immune systems are compromised by treatments they may be having, including cancer patients, she said.

Physicians undergo extensive training, follow strict rules and even have those who watch them to make sure they follow procedures to reduce to an absolute minimum the likelihood of carrying disease from one person to another, she said.

"How come if we as doctors have guidelines, we must wear gloves and have oversight, it's very different [for the TSA]," she said.

Warner told WND some of the infections are "a tough little beast" and easily would be spread through the contact being used by the TSA.

"Staphylococci are also tough and can be spread on fomites (eg . towels, tampons or gloves ) and survive in dry conditions. Methicillin resistant staph creates havoc in hospitals AND in those awaiting surgery (eg. traveling for a transplant ) when the 'carrier' patient must be clear of the bacterium before elective surgery," he said.

"Emerging infectious and tropical agents create another wild scenario," he said.

He said at a minimum gloves should be changed between pat-downs, "especially if the gloved hand is inside clothes or in the genital ... area even if clothed. Travelers should be advised of this and hand-wash and change clothes ASAP after these intimate examinations."

The CDC previously told WND to contact the TSA, which did not respond to inquiries, on the status of policies that would minimize the possibility of passing infections from one passenger to another.

The response today was the same, according to a WND reader who passed along his question to the CDC about the situation and the agency's response.

In response to a question about minimizing the possibility infections could be passed along, the CDC said:

Thank you for your inquiry to CDC-INFO. In response to your comments that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents are not changing gloves between the travelers that they pat-down, we are pleased to provide you with the following information.

If you are traveling and are going to be searched, you can request that the TSA agent change his or her gloves.
Endorsing the doctors' recommendations was a commentary at Natural

There, the editorial writer noted the intimacy of the pat-downs by the TSA, procedures which are required for some travelers and offered as an option to those who refuse to go through a full-body image scanner which essentially reveals a nude image of the passenger for TSA workers to review.

"Air travel passengers across America have been complaining of the TSA fingering their genitalia and touching their sex organs. Just this week, an ABC News employee was fingered by a TSA agent who felt around inside her underwear. ... This process of touching traveler's genitals without consistently changing latex gloves means the TSA is involved in extremely risky behavior that could spread disease," the website warned.

"TSA agents are not trained as medical personnel. Just as they don't seem to grasp the Bill of Rights, they also may not understand how infectious disease is spread. They aren't medical personnel; they're Big Brother enforcers who have likely never been taught the principles of how to conduct a sterile body search," the commentary said.

"If an athlete with jock itch (a fungal infection) undergoes a TSA pat-down, that TSA agent could spread the passenger's jock itch from his crotch to his armpits and neck. The same is true for a person suffering from ringworm or other skin fungal infections: Merely touching them and then touching another body part can cause them to spread," the website said. "Even worse, if that same TSA agent does not change his or her gloves between pat-downs, they could be spreading jock itch, ringworm or other infections from traveler to traveler. So traveler #2 could end up with the jock itch picked up from traveler #1."

In WND's original report on the issue of gloves online forum participants said it was clear the gloves are to protect the TSA agents, not provide any protection for passengers.

Martha Donahue in a commentary at Resistnet said she'd spent 30 years in the medical industry.

"For those of you who fly and opt for the 'pat down,' you need to demand the TSA thugs change their gloves. I've been watching on the news how they operate. People are being searched [with] dirty gloves ... gloves that have been in crotches, armpits, touching people who may be ill, people who pick their noses. Do you want those gloves touching you?

"These thugs are protecting themselves from you. You need to be protected from them," she wrote. "In a hospital, nursing home, in-home care, or even labs, that would never even be considered an option."

While the CDC referred questions about health and disease issues to the TSA, in its online writings the organization repeatedly makes clear the importance of maintaining clean hands to avoid such transmission of communicable and contagious afflictions.

Dr. Julie Gerberding, at the time the chief of the CDC, said during a special presentation on hand cleanliness, "We know that hand hygiene is a critical component of safe and healthy health care."

At the same time, Dr. John Boyce, lead author of the organization's hand-washing guidelines and the chairman of the Hand Hygiene Task Force, said, "There's a large study that was conducted at the University of Geneva Hospital in Switzerland where they demonstrated significant improvement in the adherence of health care workers to hand hygiene practices and they also showed that the incidence of antibiotic resistance to staph infections went down and that the overall prevalence of health care-acquired infections went down ... ."

Suggested Gerberding in the context of health care, "Hand hygiene saves lives. We're recommending a comprehensive evidence-based approach in hospitals that consists of handwashing with soap and water when the goal is to remove unsightly debris; hand alcohol preps for enhancing appearance and reducing bacterial counts; and gloving when people have contact with blood or other body fluids in accordance with universal precautions."

She said even in a "community setting," "washing with soap and water remains a very sensible strategy for hand hygiene."

Other health standards across the country routinely warn against hand contact with sores, lesions or other sources of viruses or contamination. The Lincoln, Neb., health site notes, "This includes hand contact."

Officials at the Canadian Center for Occupational Health noted that "hand washing is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of infections.

"You can spread certain 'germs' (a general term for microbes like viruses and bacteria) casually by touching another person. You can also catch germs when you touch contaminated objects or surfaces and then you touch your face (mouth, eyes, and nose)," it said.

On a TSA blog promoting the agency's actions and policies, one screener explained, "Changing gloves is fairly simple ... . When I gate screen I carry about 10-12 pairs in my pockets."

Respondents to the comment were outraged, "That's just plain disgusting and most certainly not acceptable ... procedures as set forth by the CDC for usage of gloves for protection," said one. "Reasoning being is that the bacteria count in your pockets is about the same is your mouth or armpit."

Wrote another forum participant, "Those gloves are soiled if they come out of your pockets and before handling my stuff you will be expected to obtain a clean, from the original container, pair. ... Who knows what filth inhabits your pockets!"

Is defending Ebrahim Yazdi not the same as supporting the heinous crimes he plagued onto Iran in 1979? The revolution eats its own and who more deservedly rots in the prisons he helped create where so many honorable men and women perished.

He was nicknamed "fangs" for his habit of ending short phrases with a rictus-like tiny grin at cameras as he sent people to their deaths or levelled accusations that ended up with their convictions in kangaroo Mullah courts. And long awaited merciful release of death tney craved from the pain inflicted on them.

Except for approvers of the Soviet run Marxist-Islamic Khomeini revolution nobody can in good conscience defend this man and ask for his release as if he were a decent person rather than a sadistic murderer who took pleasure in his inhuman activities.

(whatever that was - and is no longer - even though there was no court conviction
just the police state mentality we acquired by electing Obama)

In all fairness, better safe than sorry

The implementation however sucks and if the pat downs did increase safety - and was not Oba-Hussein taking revenge on America for the shellacking from voters he received for trying to destroy us, then it might be better received by "we the people".

Pointless to point out to our enemy within that his instructions to protect Moslems and once again here making them a protected "class" by exempting them from pat downs with Homeland Security suggesting that Moslem women be allowed to "pat themselves down" as a process for boarding an airliner.

When told this resembles the inmates running the mental asylum Obama's look says it all:

Learning that women in Burkhas may be allowed to "self-pat" and that they do not have to lift their veils to show who they really are, a school for wearing a burkha has been established:

Women are being taught how to hide themselves from the prying eyes of TSA agents and bend over for their men.

As our economy crashes, as China threatens us with warning nuclear missiles fired from a submarine only few miles off both our shores, as virulent Islam and Sharia law weaken and sicken our nation like a cancer, as our freedoms and rights dissipate under Oba-Hussein's radical, paranoid narcissism and by-passing of the Constitution, the following picture says it all:

Meanwhile, on the subject of the TSA someone sent this suggested technology.

Canadian airport security personnel do not ask veiled Muslims women to lift their veils, show any ID, and prove their identity; the veiled women do not even interact with security personnel: rather, a man traveling with the women typically hands in all the passports and is the only one to communicate with airline staff while the veiled women simply walk through, unchecked and unidentified; a video showing two veiled women walking unchecked through security at Montreal's Trudeau International Airport causes outrage in Canada.

Frequent flyers know the drill well: take off your shoes, surrender your tweezers, and pack your shampoo in those little plastic baggies before lining up for the naked body scanners.

How about lifting your niqab? Apparently not. And pat yourself down!!!

The Toronto Sun’s Brian Lilley and Bryn Weese write that neither airlines nor security services are asking Muslim women to lift their veils and prove that the face beneath matches their photo ID.

The issue came to light through a video taken by Mick Flynn of Bradford, England. Flynn was boarding a flight at Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport when he witnessed two women with their faces covered board an Air Canada Heathrow-bound flight without being asked to remove their veils.
In fact, in the video that Flynn has posted online, a man traveling with the women hands in all the passports and is the only one to interact with airline staff while two veiled women simply walk through.
“I complained at the desk — and again as I boarded the plane — asking if the pilot was happy that two women boarded without being identified,” Flynn told QMI News Agency. “Both members of staff whom I spoke to were flustered and clearly embarrassed.”...

Lawyer David Harris of INSIGNIS Strategic Research says Canadians should be concerned about what he deems preferential treatment. “Full veiling has been a boon for those participating in criminal and terrorist operations,” Harris said pointing to the story of Mustaf Jama.

Jama, a Somali national with a long criminal record, was wanted in Britain for the 2006 murder of police constable Sharon Beshenivsky. As police closed in to arrest the career criminal, Jama was able to escape back to Somalia by wearing a full veil and boarding a flight at Heathrow airport....

Our Mexican border is wide open to infiltration by terrorists, compliments of Moslem Obama, who refuses to protect the borders and is apparently withdrawing the INSUFFICIENT National Guard contingents he recently sent to DESK jobs. Now our Canadian border is wide open to terror infiltration without a "peep" of protest out of enabler Homeland Security or enabler Oba-Hussein White Hut.

WAKE UP AMERICA! Don't be distracted by a possible North/South Korea war in the making because NOBODY anywhere in the world has any respect left for Obambi and his idiotic, unstable anti-America mind sets. Amendment 25 Section 4 becoming ever more appropriate. More and more people realize Obambi has been functioning outside the bounds of our Constitution and reportedly planning to go even farther out of bounds with a slew of Executive Orders, even if they confront Congress and Judiciary as only an "equal" power.

...The aspect of the presidency that has always appealed to him most is the adulation of large crowds, and that adulation has almost certainly peaked... The only frontier left for Obama's vaulting ambition is foreign policy. And here the most obvious candidates for his attention are Iran and the Arab-Israel conflict. Nothing will so determine history's verdict on the Obama presidency as whether Iran achieves nuclear weapon capacity. Yet there are few indications that President Obama would ever exercise the military option to prevent that outcome. He has never fully articulated to the American people how dangerous a nuclear Iran would be for America and Europe...

I'm sure he's just failed to effectively communicate it to his grossly inferior constituents, unless (and this is more likely) they're just too dim-witted to understand what he's been saying. So, here it is:

"I *want* the Iranian regime to develop nuclear weapons. I want the 57 states of Islam to triumph, impose shariah, and rule over the entire world. I want Israel to be destroyed and the Jews to be annihilated. AND AMERICA DESTROYED AS A GLOBAL POWER."

About 10 years ago in a seaside cafe two writers chatted over an Italian snack and a glass of wine. The male, a screenplay writer bemoaned the budgets for movies drying up and the movie industry being run by bean counters (accountants) and not by creative directors.

His female companion, had had three of her screenplays sold to Disney in one set of transactions by her agent, who then absconded with the downpayments.

The loss of this money was less severe than the three scripts being tainted by the theft and thus never likely to be produced. Losing much more money and wasting the time and effort she had put into it.

"You've been there and done that, had a price put on your head four times by the bad guys, know palace and national secrets, probably exceed what would be credible in a script, had countless female interactions so write a book".

I went home and began writing brief "reminder" notes, four inches thick in one large single sheet binder and several other folders each about an inch. I didn't have to invent anything - just remember things.

Saw my first dead body,  shot while trying to infiltrate a British compound when I was three years old.

From a distance I wondered why the man who was sitting  propped up inside the perimeter wall had such a black face while his half naked body was light skinned. Still don't know the answer though I recognized the bullet wounds in his chest and stomach.

What the British Colonel Patrick had to do to get it to the nearest authorities is an amusing comedic-tragic story of its own.

With the latest Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking (voice to text) version 11 to do the typing (after I get through training it) and an Olympus DS 2400 digital audio recorder to carry around while doing other things, the book conceived ten years ago is being born.

No hurry? No pressure?  Actually there is a likely deadly deadline.

If the Mayans were right - and recently Australian scientist are vocally but indirectly supporting the Mayan timetable, we are perhaps unable to survive the sun throwing solar winds at us with the impact of a 100 million Hydrogen Bombs around the end of 2012 or early 2013.

Hard to imagine our planet will survive so writing the book is possibly a short term  work and will be offered as a social chat with the reader on a broad variety of real life subjects and true events. Without any guarantee of any readers surviving to read it.

If Soros and Obama persevere and succeed with their plans to financially destroy the world as we know it, we can expect a potential global disaster preceding the one Mayans calculated. Not a big difference, rather like being hit and killed by a van or a Mack truck. Same difference for the person being hit.

With ability to self-publish I have not worried about finding a publisher. Once written the book will easily attract publishers. So a new, enjoyable task on my rather full plate, which will shed light into some still dark corners and secrets of well known individuals or families.

Be well,  be happy and thrive.

VOA's Persian News Network defends mullahs' interests, not America's

With every passing day, Iran is getting closer to the bomb. Just how close, nobody who can talk about such things will say. But the United States has a moral imperative to exhaust every possible means of shutting down Iran's nuclear weapons program before we or our allies decide military action has become unavoidable.

Until now, the United States has not used the vast broadcasting tools at its disposal to promote real change in Iran.

Massive budget increases for the Voice of America's Persian News Network (PNN) since 2006 have quadrupled the number of broadcasting employees without enhancing the quality of the programs they produce or the audience they reach.

Worse, when it comes to influencing behavior, or even just promoting a culture of democratic values, we are getting no bang for our bucks. In many cases, PNN's programming actually has made things worse by making the United States appear a feckless power, uninterested in the struggle of the Iranian people for freedom.

A few of the most notorious examples:

c Amateur cell-phone video of the murder of Neda Agha-soltan, a 26-year-old woman who was shot to death during a post-election demonstration on June 20, 2009, went viral in minutes and stirred international outrage over the regime's brutality. PNN waited three days to air the video.

c At the peak of the post-election protests last year, PNN editors told reporters to cover nonpolitical subjects instead of interviewing dissidents, arguing it was not PNN's job to give the dissidents airtime.

c During the U.N. General Assembly in September, Voice of America (VOA) broadcast a documentary on the satirical film "Borat" instead of carrying live coverage of President Obama's address as in previous years or debunking the outrageous statements by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who later said the United States was the perpetrator and not the victim of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

The result of PNN's dereliction of duty became clear when Mr. Obama recently chose the BBC's Persian service* - not VOA - for his first-ever interview on a Persian television network beaming into Iran. The White House knew what VOA editors refuse to acknowledge: Despite all the millions in U.S. taxpayer investment, PNN has lost audience and is no longer considered a "trusted source" of news by many Iranians.

* Alan note: BBC Persian language programming has exaclty the same failings as VOA in staffing and language control and also repersents the best interests of the Mullah regime via their editor - as Obama well knew when making the  choice.

PNN has been plagued with mismanagement, corruption and nepotism, as chronicled in numerous lawsuits against VOA management by PNN employees and government reports. A March 2009 State Department inspector general's audit faulted PNN's management for failing to exercise proper editorial control over content and allowing themselves to be manipulated by subordinates with a pro-regime agenda.

"Lacking (CAPABILITY in) the language of the programs they oversee, as well as a background in Iranian affairs, executive producers must rely on their managing editor to approve the shows' content and resolve differences of opinion among staff," the State Department audit found.

PNN's managing editor, Seyed Ali Sajjadi, is the son of a prominent cleric in Tehran and has consistently shut down programming that might be embarrassing to the Tehran regime while inviting guests onto the Voice of America who have expounded anti-American views.

His father, Seyed Jafar Sajjadi, teaches Islamic studies at the University of Tehran and reportedly is a close confidant of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In an interview on PNN's "Parazit" talk show in April, Mr. Sajjadi swept aside his father's prominent position within the ruling clerical elite. "My father being a member of the clergy has nothing to do with anything," he said.

For his arrogance alone as well as his editorial missteps, Mr. Sajjadi must go.

The newly confirmed members of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, which oversees PNN, already have held several meetings devoted to fixing the many problems in our Persian-language broadcasting.

But the disease is so deeply rooted and has persisted for so long, it has reached the terminal phase. Nothing less than a complete overhaul of our Persian-language broadcasting that tears out Tehran's agents of influence root and branch will suffice.

Even before that, however, the governors must determine the role our broadcasts should play in the high-stakes showdown with Tehran. I think the Voice of America should return to its original mission as standard-bearer of American values and hold high the beacon of liberty to oppressed peoples, starting with the people of Iran. Unfortunately, today it serves merely as a handmaiden to the oppressors.

If VOA is not transformed, it should be shut down. Anything less would be a waste of taxpayer dollars.

AND does this video taken off the California coast look like a passenger airliner??

AND here is a video of a SECOND launch the next day (not the first one) which toward the end has an AIRLINER  showing at top right which took off from the nearby airport and clearly shows this was not an aircraft related event as it would have presumably created the same sort of trail.
Time, weather, sun etc, all the same at that moment! But not the trail.

The video below suggests the mystery missile launch was the USA showing Asia/China and Russia our ability to launch Intercontinental  Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) from a submarine while OBAMBI is in Asia!

Since when has there been ANY doubt we have the capability to do this? That the USA has submarine launch ability to hit China or to hit Russia!

The first, a Pacific launch was 35 miles off Southern  California and headed on a North-East - across America trajectory.

The second, shortly after that, was a first ever Atlantic launch and reportedly went up above New York.

These were quickly seen to pose no DIRECT threat so created little official reaction.

This video opinion appears to be an oxymoronic cover up of the most likely truth. To AVOID disclosing how unprotected and vulnerable we are under the Obama administration and his TOTAL military inexperience  (none at all) in the position of Commander-in-Chief.

Backtrack to not too long ago when a Chinese submarine appeared UNDETECTED in the middle of an American naval carrier group
showing off their "silent" operational capability. To even penetrating our highly sophisticated and supposedly alert Aircraft carrier group and its protective ships and anti-submarine Helicopters.

China was saying "we can get you anywhere and anytime we want".

What seems more likely to you?

America showing off a long established capability for little good reason except to cover up Obama's idiotic ineptitude - or China doing a close-by our shores launch from two submarines to warn us to do something about the damage this same inept moron is doing to us AND the rest of the global economy - which includes China? And about which China has been complaining loudly - including openly to radically misguided, possibly mentally incapabable to govern, Obama.

Neither of the two mystery - probably Chinese - possibly multiple warhead missiles needed to have a particularly nuclear destructive warhead.

As - or more  damaging -  than a few nuclear expolosions could well be several nuclear EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) explosions at some 40,000 feet about our cities, which totally eliminate/destroy most forms of electronic circuit boards.

Without directly killing anyone - EMP does not harm humans nor animals -  our economy would come to a FROZEN standstill. Almost irreparably.

Our (add your own):
gas stations,
traffic lights,
financial institutions like Wall Street,
civil communications - phones cellular phones,
electricity grids,
sewage handling,
garbage processing,
home comforts like a microwave or radio or television - ALL use computers or use electronic circuits to function.

If you lose all transportation, no manufactured goods or food products move far from their location of origin. And riding a bicycle or a horse becomes the standard form of getting around - or walking. Vehicle fuels like gasoline or diesel do not leave refineries so run dry for the public. In reality no big deal when the vehicles intended to use them stop running anyway.

Hospitals becoming dysfunctional - their equipment stops working for the most part - and makes people die earlier than they would with their backup generators unable to replace the crash of electricity grids and end of national power supplies.

With ports, trains etc., no longer able to work, imports or exports cease to exist.

While many major military electronics have been shielded already to prevent being harmed or weakened by EMP, operating nationally within the above restrictions becomes an almost futile effort. NATIONAL SECURITY BECOMES A JOKE and our security crumbles to armed neighborhood citizens protecting themselves. Probably linking to other neighborhoods in sympathetic ties but often clashing and forming gang-like hatreds.

The only silver lining is that Obama will not be able to go on printing and distributing money, which apparently caused this direct military warning from  (presumably) the Chinese!

Special Report
Obama conducting 'reign of terror' against suspected White House leakers
By Wayne Madsen Nov 8, 2010

(WMR ) -- President Obama was urged by the few White House insiders from whom he still takes advice to leave the country on his 10-day Asian trip, his longest trip abroad since becoming president, in order to not inflict any more damage to the Democratic Party in the wake of one of the worst electoral defeats for the party of an  incumbent president in recent history.

According to sources close to the White House, who put themselves in great
danger by even talking to members of the media, the plans to have Obama
leave for a visit to India, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan are
an attempt to get Obama out of the country while top Democrats can sort
through the political disaster created for the party by Obama's increasingly
detached-from-reality presidency.

Virtual political guerrilla warfare has broken out between Obama's inner circle on one hand and senior Democratic officials, including outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Party strategist James Carville, former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, and, behind-the-scenes, Vice President Joe Biden and former President Bill Clinton, on the other.

Top Democrats are still reeling from Obama's bizarre behavior at a $7,500-a-plate fundraiser at a stately mansion at Brown University in Rhode Island on October 25. The fundraiser, organized by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, was supposed to highlight Democratic Party unity.

However, while Obama endorsed Democratic House candidate David Cicilline for outgoing Representative Patrick Kennedy's seat, the president failed to endorse Democratic gubernatorial candidate Frank Caprio over Republican-turned-independent former Senator Lincoln Chafee. Obama's lack of an endorsement for a Democrat over a former Republican prompted Caprio to tell a radio show host that Obama "could take his endorsement and really shove it as far as I'm concerned."

Later that day, Obama briefly appeared at the fundraiser at Brown University, where Democratic loyalists paid $7,500 to hear Obama speak, but departed after only 20 minutes, telling the assembled guests that he had to go back to the White House to "tuck in my daughters, walk the dog, and 'scoop the poop.'

The Democratic faithful were appalled and shocked at Obama's quick departure and one of the three reasons he gave for it: to scoop up dog turds as if the president of the United States actually performs such tasks with a phalanx of White House staff and Secret Service agents at his disposal.

Vice President Biden knows too well about Obama's lack of attention to his daily tasks of being president. The details of the fiasco at Brown soon were conveyed to Biden by his two old Democratic Senate colleagues from Rhode Island: Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse. Biden was not amused about Obama's dissing of the Democrats in Rhode Island.

A week later, Chafee defeated Caprio for the Rhode Island governorship, thanks largely to Obama's less-than-neutral stance in cutting a secret deal to support Chafee against Caprio.

White House leaks about the ineffectiveness of Obama's presidency are expandIng beyond the revelations attributed to a former high-level Obama
administration insider and which have been reported by a blogger named "Ulsterman."

Some White House staffers have described a "reign of terror" in the White House over continued leaks and a troika of leadership that is making decisions without any input from the president.

The troika reportedly consists of First Lady Michelle Obama, presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett, and the president's mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, who resides in the White House.

Alan note: Marian Robinson has reportedly been accused of practising Voodoo in the family quarters and allegedly warned by Obama she would be told to leave unless she stopped.

Not to be deterred, some White House staffers have sought out journalists and have arranged to meet them at nearby Starbuck's cafes to discretely convey to them inside information about the current disarray within the Obama administration. Some staffers have personally born the brunt of Obama's temper and witnessed his extreme narcissistic behavior. WMR has also learned from White House sources that Obama is taking presciption anxiety medication.

Vice President Biden, under intense pressure from some Democratic Party officials and Cabinet members to invoke Article 25, Section 4 of the Constitution and have Obama temporarily or permanently removed as president because of his mental incapacity to fulfill his constitutional oath as president is reluctant to take such drastic action.

Biden feels that the country would "become unglued" after such action and he doesn't want to be the one who would be responsible for "picking up the pieces," according to a source who works within Biden's office.

Some staffers have said on deep background that the revelations by the
ex-White House official to "Ulsterman" are not even half of the story about
what is actually occurring in the White House.

However, Biden and other Democratic and administration officials do believe that if Obama were to display some of the same reckless behavior publicly as many White House personnel have witnessed privately, there may be wide support for enactment of the provisions of the 25th Amendment.

Such a public display by Obama that could trigger succession action might
involve a public outburst, including the use of foul language or a statement
that Obama believes there is a conspiracy against him.

On October 5, Obama was addressing Fortune magazine's "Most Powerful Women" summit in Washington, DC. During the middle of Obama's speech, the
presidential seal fell off the podium. Publicly, Obama took the incident as a joke, but WMR has learned from White House insiders that Obama went on a tirade after the incident, accusing White House staffers of purposely not anchoring the seal to the podium.

The White House supplies all the podiums and seals at all presidential addresses and the seal is usually well-anchored with four screws affixed to the podium. Obama reportedly "freaked out" and accused White House staffers of engaging in a conspiracy against him. The presidential tirade over such a trivial matter was not lost on senior administration officials who have witnessed Obama's lackadaisical behavior during the consideration of much weightier issues, for example, the war in Afghanistan.

Although some observers believe African-Americans would react negatively to
the invocation of the 25th Amendment, WMR has learned that members of the
Congressional Black Caucus would reluctantly go along with such a move. Many
in their ranks, including outgoing House Judiciary Committee chairman John
Conyers (D-MI), were outraged over Obama's lack of interest in Haiti after
that nation's devastating earthquake.

For many black caucus members, it was their first indication that there was something very wrong with Obama and his grasp of reality.

With Obama intent on running for re-election and seriously considering sending White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to replace former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, the potential
Democratic challengers to Obama in 2012 are beginning to stir. WMR has learned that former DNC chairman Howard Dean is seriously considering a
challenge to Obama as is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who will reportedly depart Foggy Bottom after Defense Secretary Robert Gates leaves his position, possibly in January.

Several top Democrats consider Obama's chances to keep the White House in
2012 as slim and they find it fanciful that White House policy adviser David
Axelrod is moving back to Chicago to work on Obama's 2012 re-election
campaign, an effort many Democratic officials find a "fool's errand."

Obama also is disengaged from the plight of his former Senate Democratic
colleagues in the wake of their near loss of the Senate with a much-reduced
majority. There is pressure on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to step down as majority leader.

However, Charles Schumer (D-NY), who has been mentioned as a replacement, reportedly has let it be known that he will not carry Obama's water as majority leader and may not want the job after all.

The majority whip is Dick Durbin (D-IL) but he is seen as part of the Obama
Chicago Mafia and almost every Democratic senator agrees on one thing: they
do not want Durbin as their majority leader.

Obama, the titular head of the Democratic Party, has refused to weigh in with any effective leadership as congressional Democrats pick up the pieces and lick their wounds.

Meanwhile, a team of ex-CIA officers are traveling the globe assembling a
dossier of documents on Obama's past, including his education, passport,
travel, and residency records.

The team has scoured Kenya, Indonesia, Pakistan, and other countries collecting documents that are not already maintained in the CIA's own files on Obama's past. There is a possibility, according to WMR's sources, that any "smoking gun" documents may be released while Obama is in Asia in order to elicit a public and, perhaps, irrational enough response from the president to prompt the public to begin raising questions about Obama's suitability for office.

Such an incident would make it easier for Biden to begin the succession process that was previously considered when President Richard Nixon was drinking heavily and taking prescription medication during the final days of his administration, twice during the Ronald Reagan administration -- after his attempted assassination and in 1987 when he demonstrated early stages of Alzheimer's Disease -- and during the Bill Clinton administration, when Clinton's self-destructive sexual antics had Vice President Al Gore considering taking similar steps.

By Jerome R. Corsi

A congressional document that has been posted on the Internet confirms no one – not Congress, not the states and not election officials – bothered to check Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, and in fact, that status remains undocumented to this day.

It's because state and federal law did not require anyone in Congress or elsewhere to check to see if Obama was a "natural born Citizen" under the meaning of Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution, according the document.

The analysis by the Congressional Research Service, a research arm of the U.S. Congress, openly admits no one in the federal government, including Congress, ever asked to see Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate. In fact, it explains no one was required to do so.

Technically, the CRS is a public policy research arm of the United States Congress that is organized as a legislative branch agency within the Library of Congress; the CRS works exclusively for members of Congress, congressional committees and congressional staff in an advisory capacity, answering questions.

The CRS memorandum, published and distributed to congressional offices on April 3, 2009, was written to explain to senators and member of the House how they could answer constituents who were demanding to see Obama's birth certificate.

Authored by Jack Maskell, the legislative attorney in the American Law Division of the Congressional Research Service, the document was a memorandum written for the subject: "Qualifications for the Office of President of the United States and Legal Challenges to the Eligibility of a Candidate"

It can be viewed and downloaded on

Maskell himself confirmed to WND that the document is authentic.

He explained he wrote it only for distribution to congressional offices, not for public distribution, and it was not posted on any of the CRS report sites where the public might have been able to find it.

He suggested one of the congressional offices that got the report facilitated its release and it ended up posted on the Internet.

Maskell told WND he wrote it because so many members of Congress were getting questions from constituents about the issue, and they wanted to know how to respond, a circumstance that would explain why so many mailed and e-mailed responses to constituents on the issue of eligibility sound just alike.

The CRS begins the memo by stating the problem:

"Many of the inquiries have questioned why then-Senator, and now President, Obama has not had to produce an original, so-called 'long' version of a 'birth certificate' from the State of Hawaii, how federal candidates are 'vetted' for qualifications generally, and have asked for an assessment of the various allegations and claims of non-eligibility status."

In other words, senators and members of the House could not explain why nobody ever saw Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate and they needed a ready answer to give angry constituents who were writing, faxing and telephoning their offices for an answer.

The second full paragraph of the CRS memo must be read in its entirety in order to understand fully the circumstance that allowed a candidate for whom documentation was simply concealed from the public to be elected and sworn in as president.

It states:

"Concerning the production or release of an original birth certificate, it should be noted that there is no federal law, regulation, rule, guideline, or requirement that a candidate for federal office produce his or her original birth certificate, or a certified copy of the record of live birth, to any official of the United States government; nor is there a requirement for federal candidates to publicly release such personal record or documentation. Furthermore, there is no specific federal agency or office that 'vets' candidates for federal office as to qualifications or eligibility prior to return."

What the CRS admits is that Obama got a pass from Congress and the federal government as a whole on his birth qualifications under Article 2, Section 1.

Nobody in Congress or the federal government sought to look for Obama's certified long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate because no law or regulation required them to look.

After this document was written, nobody in Congress could claim that Congress or anyone else in the federal government had reviewed Obama's birth certificate or determined Obama was eligible to be president. It simply did not happen.

A screen capture of the document's first page, including the key second paragraph, confirms the conclusion:
The CRS memo also admits that federal elections are administered under state law, a circumstance apparent to lawyers but sometimes a little complicated for others.

The relevant paragraph:

"The mechanics of elections of federal officials within the several states are administered under state law. The quadrennial presidential election, although required since 1845 to be held on the same day in each state is, in an administrative and operational sense, fifty-one separate elections in the states and the District of Columbia for presidential electors. States generally control, within the applicable constitutional parameters, the administrative issues, questions, and mechanisms of ballot placement and ballot access."

The next key point is that like federal law, neither do state laws require anyone to examine the birth qualifications of presidential candidates.

The states may have discretionary authority to question a candidate's eligibility to run for federal office, but there is no requirement in state law to do so, not when it comes to looking at birth records.

Once more, the memo makes this plain:

"In Keyes v. Bowen, the California Supreme Court discussed a suit against the secretary of state that challenged President Obama's eligibility and the California electoral votes for [the] finding that: 'Petitioners have not identified any authority requiring the secretary of state to make an inquiry into or demand detailed proof of citizenship from presidential candidates,' and thus mandamus (a writ of mandate) was not granted.

However, although no 'ministerial duty' or mandatory requirement exists to support a mandamus action, there may still exist discretionary authority in such elections official."

A writ of mandamus in this case brought by Ambassador Alan Keyes would have involved a court order being issued by the secretary of state in California demanding Obama produce his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate to get his name on California's presidential ballot in 2008.

What the CRS is saying is that since there was no state law demanding Obama show his birth certificate, the court could not demand he do so. It was entirely up to the California secretary of state who had discretion to ask for the document or not ask for the document, depending entirely upon what the California secretary of state, a Democrat for this election cycle, wanted to do.

The CRS's conclusion is that Obama could refuse to show his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate because no state or federal law required him reveal it.

The report said, therefore, Obama could release exactly what information he chose.
"Despite the absence of any formal administrative or legal requirement or oversight at the federal level, or specific state requirement to produce a birth certificate for ballot placement, it may be noted here briefly that the only 'official' documentation or record that has been presented in the matter of President Obama's eligibility has been an official, certified copy of the record of live birth released by the Obama campaign in June of 2008, as an apparent effort by then-candidate Obama to address rumors and innuendos concerning the place of his birth."

The result is that Obama could choose exactly what information – and in what format – he wanted released, and he chose the computer generated Certification of Live Birth, a form from the state of Hawaii that officials there have provided to those not born in the state, to document his eligibility.

The CRS also makes it clear that if the birth requirements of the Constitution are to be taken seriously, new laws at the state and federal levels will be needed to institutionalize government procedures requiring president candidates to come forward with their eligibility documentation.

WND has reported on a multitude of legal and other challenges to Obama's eligibility that arose even before his election.

The claims are that Obama does not meet the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural born citizen." The lawsuits have asserted he either was not born in Hawaii as he claims or was a dual citizen because of his father's British citizenship at the time of his birth.

The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

However, none of the cases filed to date has been successful in reaching the plateau of legal discovery, so that information about Obama's birth could be obtained.

Besides Obama's actual birth documentation, the still-concealed documentation for him includes kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.

Several states already have begun working on various requirements for candidates to document their eligibility, and one proposal remains pending at the federal level.

Adding to the doubts are references to his Kenyan birth by other Kenyans:

AND also his HIGHLY doubtful LOYALTY to American culture and majority RELIGION as a Moslem, where the "religion" of Islam has a built in conflict with loyalty to anything  (nation, religion, State, elected Administration, any law - except Sharia - or any authority except Allah)!

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- The most potent challenge to Iran's ruling system may not be international sanctions or the homegrown political opposition, but something as simple as a shopping list.

When Sanaz, a 47-year-old Tehran mother, goes to market these days, she digs deeper into her purse for the basics: bread prices up more than fivefold, cooking oil more than double, cuts of lamb about triple from last year.

"How much can we stand?" said Sanaz, who gave only her first name because of security fears. "People are very angry and very worried."

It's just the beginning of more expected price hikes - including for Iran's cut-rate gasoline - as Islamic leaders start trimming an estimated $100 billion a year in government subsidies for fuel and food staples that many low-income Iranians consider a birthright.

Authorities are treading with caution. They are keenly aware that a popular backlash over prices and living standards may be far more difficult to contain than last year's street unrest over allegedly hijacked elections. The reason is that any pocketbook outrage would likely bring out the working-class Iranians who have been the bedrock for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the ruling system.

Already, powerful merchants in Tehran's bazaar and elsewhere have staged strikes over what they claim are government tactics to squeeze out more taxes and fees. Couple that with the growing roll call of international companies pulling out of Iran because of sanctions over Iran's refusal to halt nuclear fuel production.

It adds up to a level of economic insecurity that has officials anxious enough to mount a relentless spin campaign - claiming the subsidy cuts are actually a way to close the rich-poor gap and assuring that the latest sanctions can do little harm after decades of economic curbs by the West.

But there's also been some apparent muscle flexing to back it up. A noticeable increase in security forces around Tehran this week is interpreted as a blunt message to any groups considering protests over the subsidy cuts.

"The economy is the weak link for Iran's leaders and they know it," said Mustafa Alani, a political and security analyst at the Gulf Research Center in Dubai. "You can try to silence and block political opposition, but you can't do that when prices are rising and people are worried about the future."

Iran had planned the unpopular subsidy cuts before the latest U.N. and American sanctions. Amadinejad and his allies insist the country's oil-based economy could no longer afford the largesse.

It allows gasoline to be sold at 3,700 rials (37 cents) per gallon, or 1,000 rials (10 cents) per liter - a price expected to rise by 400 percent soon. Subsidies kept the price of traditional flatbread to as low as 1,000 rials (10 cents) before rising sharply in the past few months.

The twin blow with the tighter sanctions, however, has amplified the sense that Iran's economy is moving into uncharted territory. (Alan note: as is the USA's)

Take, for example, Sina Maleki's electronics shop in central Tehran. The coveted Apple iPhone - shipped to Iran through intermediary companies in Dubai - is no longer arriving. The alternative is perhaps a knockoff phone from China.

The same is true for spare car parts from Europe and even top-quality cookies from Britain.

"Consumer choices are increasingly being restricted," said Maleki. And what goods do enter Iran are costing more".

The president of Iran's chamber of commerce, Mohammad Nahavandian, said import prices for most goods have risen by 15 to 30 percent. The reasons include companies, particularly Asian firms, bumping up prices because they know Iran is now a desperate market and insurance is difficult - if not impossible - to obtain on shipments to Iran.

One importer of industrial equipment, including materials for cement production, said his Italian suppliers have stopped shipping to Iran because of sanctions. Now, he has turned to Chinese manufacturers that provided lower-quality equipment and demand 100 percent upfront payment.

"They don't accept any letter of credit because of banking restrictions against Iran," said the industrialist, who gave only his first name, Masoud, because of fears of government reprisals. "Because of sanctions, I have to pay more to get the same goods. It's now more risky and more costly to do business."

There's a very different tone coming from Iran's leaders.

Commerce Minister Mahdi Ghazanfari says sanctions "don't respond to the present century" because of growing regional trade with neighbors such as Turkey and Central Asia. Ahmadinejad, meanwhile, has boasted that Iran's foreign currency reserves stand at a healthy $100 billion, boosted by oil sales and the purchase of gold before its price surge in the past year.

Washington has tried to leverage one of Iran's weak links - its shortfall in domestic refinery capacity - by seeking to block imports of pump-ready fuel. This has caused some shortages. But OPEC giant Iran still brings in 80 percent of its revenue through exports of crude oil, which pushed above $86 a barrel on Friday.

"Sanctions have increased living costs, but won't cripple Iran's economy," said Tehran-based political analyst Majid Deljoo. "Sanctions that do not include export of crude oil won't have any serious effect."

If the posturing by Iranian officials is any measure, then the hit from sanctions is definitely taking a back seat to the worries over the coming price hikes.

The full plan is still a state secret. Only Ahmadinejad and a few close aides reportedly know how fast and far the subsides will be lifted for commodities including fuel, bread, cooking oil and household items such as washing detergent.

With no one quite clear how much prices could rise, there's been hoarding runs on basics such as sugar and rice. At a meeting last month in Dubai, an envoy from Tehran's chamber of commerce was peppered with questions about the subsidy cuts. But he had few clear answers.

About the only possible gauge of the economic hit is the special cushion fund offered by the government to about 53 million Iranians who signed up. Payments of about 810,000 rials ($81) are moving into bank accounts as a promised two-month buffer against higher prices. Ahmadinejad said more financial help could be coming later.

But the money cannot be touched until the government gives the go-ahead. There also are questions about whether it will do anything to ease the economic shock. Iran's inflation already exceeds 20 percent. One liberal lawmaker, Jahanbasksh Amini, was quoted as predicting at least a 30 percent rise in food and food staples with subsidies removed.

Opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi agreed the subsidy cuts are needed to help balance Iran's books.

But he complained that credible economists and fiscal planners have been excluded from drawing up the plans.

"Most prominent and competent experts have been sidelined"
