Top two Iranian opposition leaders secretly jailed. West fails to act

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report February 28, 2011

Iran's opposition Karroubi Mousavi US Mir-Hossein Moussavi and Mehdi Karroubi jailed

The White House on Monday, Feb. 28, said the U.S. "strongly condemns the Iranian government's organized intimidation campaign…" After a human-rights group reported that two opposition figures had been moved from where they were detained under house arrest to an unknown location, the White House accused the Iranian government in general terms of, "blatant violation of the universal rights of its citizens…" as well as "blocking Internet sites and jamming satellite transmissions."

The disappearance of Iran's two most prominent opposition figures, Mir-Hossein Moussavi and Mehdi Karroubi, was not mentioned in the White House statement.

Iranian sources reveal here that both have been secretly jailed at the infamous Parchin prison.

Thursday night, Feb. 24, they were taken from their Tehran homes, beaten, concealed in large sacks and carried in armored police vehicles to one of Iran's hellhole prisons. Inmates of Parchin are rarely seen again. Their wives have also disappeared to "an unknown location."

They were seized so suddenly that their fellow activists thought they were still at home under protracted house arrest. They soon discovered that the Moussavi and Karroubi residences were dark and deserted and their families nowhere to be seen. The guards were also gone.

The dreaded "top security" Parchin prison is reserved for the regime's boldest political and ideological dissidents, as well spies accused of threatening Iranian state security and foreign captives of the regime. According to reliable intelligence sources, the Israeli navigator captured in Lebanon 25 years ago and abducted to Iran was held at Parchin prison and never seen again.

So too was the American Robert Levinson, who was arrested four years ago on a trip to Kish Island, although the Iranians deny they know what happened to him.

Situated almost next door to Iran's most secret nuclear laboratories, the prison's vicinity is one of the most heavily guarded sections of Tehran.

Before the arrests, large numbers of security and special forces agents cordoned off entire blocks and placed guards armed with anti-riot gear along the streets through which the opposition leaders were driven to the prison.

Their wives were taken with them but their whereabouts have not been established.

Our sources have learned that when they were unloaded in the prison forecourt, the two men could not stand unaided and their faces were streaked with blood.

Our sources report Moussavi and Karroubi must have been seriously weakened by enforced hunger while still at home. They and their wives were not allowed to shop for food and obliged to eat food supplied by their guards.

They refused for fear of poison. Their children and other relatives sent many letters to supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei expressing deep concern about their state of health and complaining that they were barred from visiting them, but were never answered.

March 1 is Mousavi's 69th birthday and the two leaders' followers are preparing to launch broad demonstrations in Tehran and other cities to protest the cruel mistreatment they are suffering at the Islamic regime's hands.

The authorities plan to crack down on their protest with their habitual harshness, encouraged - the Iranian opposition movement is convinced - by the Obama administration's failure to take action strong enough to save their leaders.

Its activists were asking this week how come Western leaders are so ready to push for Muammar Qaddafi's ouster and offer the Libyan opposition every assistance, when Ayatollah Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rate no more than a slap on the wrist for the savage repression they mete out at the slightest expression of dissent.

They point to the orchestrated demands coming from regime extremists in the last ten days for the two opposition leaders to be hanged, including a collective call from 200 deputies of the Iranian parliament.

It is with great sadness that we share the the passing of Princess Azadeh (Dodi) Shafigh Pahlavi, daughter of H.I.H. Princess Ashraf Pahlavi, the late-Shah of Iran's twin sister, in a New York hospice, where she was being cared for her cancer.

I remember Dodi as the adventurous kid sister, full of humor and strong principles of a best friend, Prince Shahriar (Poudzi) Shafigh (Chafigh), who was assassinated in France by the Islamic regime to remove the most capable military officer likely to lead a military action against the regime.

Also remember her as an important activist for royalist, anti-Mullah efforts, including in  London, where she crossed the English Channel to attend demonstrations against the Mullahs.

I remember her seated happily, at a vantage point to watch a royalist march, on top of the cabin of a large truck which had been rented to bring in the flags and banners for the 12,000 or so participants - which back in 1979 was a huge surge from the 27 people at the the first protest outside the occupied Iranian consulate. Of this number 25 were various organizers!

May she rest in eternal peace, as we feel the deep loss in our heavy hearts.

Shahryar Shafiq was an Imperial Iranian Navy Captain, and the only member of the Pahlavi Dynasty who chose a military career. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in February 1979, he was the only member of Dynasty to stay inside Iran and keep fighting against the Islamic revolutionaries, up to the point when he had to flee in a small boat from the Persian Gulf to Kuwait, under heavy fire.

In 1967, he married Maryam Eghbal, daughter of Manouchehr Eghbal, who was earlier married to one of his uncles, a half-brother of the Shah. They had two sons: HH Prince Nader Shafiq (born 15 March 1968) and HH Prince Dara Shafiq (born 1970).

After exile, he joined his family in Paris, France and began organizing a resistance movement inside Iran. He was assassinated in Paris on December 7, 1979, being shot twice in the head on the Rue Pergolese by a motorcyclist, the Prince reportedly drawn to the location by a former royal  bodyguard, whom he trusted and who sold him out to the Mullahs.

Obama is protective of "civil rights" for Muslims in the U.S., saying, "In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging," he laments.

QUOTE: "I will stand with them (Moslems) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction".

Oba-Hussein-Abdullah's excuse for not confronting Ghaddafi or the Islamic regime of Iran, both of which have slaughtered and are slaughtering thousands of protesters, is he does not want to endanger the couple of hostages in Iran and any Americans still in Libya.

And we have a DIPLOMAT , with diplomatic immunity, in a Pakistan prison with a DEATH sentence hanging over him and DO NOTHING!!! (Because he may or may not be a CIA operative. Regardless he is still an embassy employee with diplomatic immunity.

All Pakistan is officially  free to do is to EXPEL him from the country but they know how pro-Islam Oba-zero is so they trample over the USA with the immunity he grants them and other Jihadis - like the Moslem Brotherhood, whom he holds to his chest like long lost brothers.

This Marxist-Islamist (p)"resident" (community organizer hoodloom) in the Oval Office CANNOT CLAIM TO PRESIDENT of the USA when he openly supports only a thin slice of our populace's strata who are in many cases our avowed ENEMIES!

And egotistically demonstrates how "clever" he is by spending $228,000 (our tax money) for every single job created or "saved" (whatever that means). Almost EXCLUSIVELY government or public sector jobs, most of which were temporary ones (like census workers) and disappeared almost immediately.

A bit like his WTF!

Which to him means 'winning the future' (mostly his own future) but viewed in his herding us farther into unrepayable generational debt to achieve it, has a different connotation for most Americans, who have less love for him than he has for himself.

For them it is more like 'what the f..k' is he thinking.

Horrifying details of assault of South African (not American) reporter in Egypt

Why was she attacked this way?

Innocent little girl, victim of brutal Pashtunwali violence. Her father gave her to another family to settle a dispute and that family tortured her for 2 years. Often disputes are solved in Pashtunwali by giving daughters.

Eventually people rescued her and took her to Kabul for help. She is only 7 years old. She is being treated by a Kabuli doctor.

She speaks of being burned with a cigarette lighter and her knife wounds having healed.

SIDEBAR: Before you click on the link above read on first:

BTW, did you all notice that in his brief speech today "criticizing" Libya (after 10-days of "scheduling conflict" blocking his opinion), Oba-Hussein - our terrorist enabler in chief - never mentioned well known enemy of America, Moslem Mo'ammar Ghaddafi by name, as he did countless of times when he was insisting long time American ally Egypt's Mubarak should allow his SECULAR regime to fall to the Moslem Brotherhood, with which Oba-Hussein is buddy-buddy?

And despite warnings of the consequences, has opened the floodgates of Islamic take-over of the Middle East and the forming a global Islamic Caliphate, ruled by Mullahs and Sharia law.

While he mentioned Tunisian  and Egyptian protesters as people to be supported by the USA, he completely ignored the millions of Iranians, who flooded the streets of Iranian cities IN 2009 and were brutally murdered, with thousands killed in the streets. We listed the names of over 1,000 of the DEAD  in the Multilingual section.Tens of thousand more were arrested and several thousand "died" in the prisons under torture and gang rapes.

Yet, careful not to offend his Iranian Mullah money sources, Oba-Hussein did not even mention the Iranian populace's  struggles nor even criticize the bloodthirsty Iranian regime. Students and demonstrators are IN THE STREETS of Tehran TODAY. But not worth a mention. (scroll down to video a couple of articles below)

Their dying for trying to obtain their freedom from the brutal Islamic regime of Iran DOES NOT COUNT IN Obama's eyes!!! Not even worth a mention by him on the record.

Instead, he changes dire ctions and focuses his Department of INjustice instead on ignoring law banning Gay marriage - IGNORING THAT IN IRAN YOU GET HANGED FOR BEING GAY! Strange priorities in the brain (?) of the (p) resident of the White House.

Has Obama, on purpose or moronically,  crossed the line of TREASON to the USA?

Tuesday, February 22, 2011

Like Unions, enemy of America, Libyan Leader Ghaddafi is an Oba-Hussein insider AND INSISTS Obama is a fellow Moslem, so the White House refuses to malign him. Nor explain why Obama gave this billionaire's children grants of American public funds! Yes, your tax money. Distribution of your wealth to rich foreigners?!

Is there any limit to street hoodlum Oba-Hussein's Chicago style corruption and the twisted mindset of this Union Organizer punk? Or his support for our enemies but silence for the protests in Iran, where the demonstrators were generally pro-American? So he supports the brutal Islamic Mullah regime? (Except for a few mealy-mouthed words thrown at them in a pro-forma fashion).

Colonel Allen West deals with an Islamic CAIR accuser, who asks "where in the Koran does it say to attack America?"

West: "When the Koran was written America did not exist" (Duh!) And then throws a string of UNDENIABLE Islamic horrors perp, etrated over the centuries at him!

Just like the Union thuggery, enforced insistence on recognition by Americans of Islamic Sharia losing popularity in the USA. And meeting insreasing confrontation.

In Britain, however, the Islamic rot has set in:

This is the kind of appalling news story that we associate with places where Islam holds sway:

Four men launched a horrific attack on a teacher in which they slashed his face and left him with a fractured skull because they did not approve of him teaching religion to Muslim girls.

Akmol Hussein, 26, Sheikh Rashid, 27, Azad Hussain, 25, and Simon Alam, 19, attacked [the teacher] with a Stanley knife, an iron rod and a block of cement.

Sounds like the kind of thing that happens in Pakistan, doesn't it? Or Iran, possibly. Only the teacher's name is Gary Smith, and he taught at the Central Foundation Girls' School in Bow, East London.

The four Muslims who broke Smith's skull felt right at home in the Sharia-friendly United Kingdom, even though they apparently had been identified as a threat and were under surveillance:

Detectives made secret recordings of the gang's plot to attack Mr Smith prior to the brutal assault.

The covert audio probe captured the gang condemning Mr Smith for 'teaching other religions to our sisters', the court heard.

The RE teacher was targeted as he made his way on foot along Burdett Road in nearby Mile End on July 12 last year, Snaresbrook Crown Court was told.

Prosecutor Sarah Whitehouse told the court: 'The evidence from what was said on the probe points overwhelmingly to a religious motive for this attack.'

It is believed the gang had made two earlier attempts to get at the teacher.

Yes, well: at risk of seeming rude, if the authorities were eavesdropping on the Muslim terrorists and knew that they intended to attack Mr. Smith, why didn't they do anything? Apparently the terrorists succeeded on their third try. So where were the police?

Nature abhors a vacuum, and Sharia will fill it if law enforcement authorities are so inept that they are unable to protect law-abiding citizens from threatened violence.

When resistance to Union thuggery spreads among more and more States (29) with Republican Governors, which have to balance their budgets by law and can no longer afford the cushy deals, the Unions bludgeoned out for themselves, in the past, then Oba-Hussein actions will quickly start to cross the line of treachery into treason. When?

Some comments from Glen Beck's

Soon people, soon. The lines are becoming more clear every day. The violent revolution Oba-Hussein is planning against America will start with the unions, then the muzies will join in and when the Mexicans see they can ride the tide with the rest of the traitors, there will be a blood bath. Put all that crap together and add in hunger from food prices and no one being able to afford fuel.

This is long past treason, we have the president working with those who wish to destroy and overthrow the nations free will; while off of Somalia the pirates have executed the four captives and the president will do nothing – they were christian missionaries on a round the world trip.

President Obama is sticking to his script, and there’s no room in it for Libya or the killings of four hostages by Somali pirates.

Instead, Obama is spending his Tuesday in Cleveland spreading his message about jobs and innovation, and sitting in on some “breakout sessions” at a forum modeled after his “winning the future” rallying cry.

Obama spoke for eight minutes in the morning as he started the conference, but made no mention of the violence in Libya or of the deaths of the hostages held by Somali pirates. His press secretary, Jay Carney, told reporters on Air Force One that he was informed of the hostage deaths early Tuesday morning.

The White House has yet to release any statement – written or spoken – specifically about the violence in Libya or the comments of Muammar Qadhafi. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton cited “bloodshed” in a written statement on Monday, and Obama said in a statement on Friday that he was “deeply concerned” about violence in three restive countries: Bahrain, Libya and Yemen.

Obama often uses public appearances as a chance to speak about current events, especially tragic ones. But he began his remarks on Tuesday by going right into acknowledging the members of his administration joining him at the jobs pow-wow. Carney told reporters that he didn’t “anticipate” Obama speaking about Libya.

Senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, who is in Cleveland, said in an MSNBC interview shortly after Obama’s remarks that Obama “condemns violence in Libya,” and that “it needs to stop.”

She added, “But further than that, I really couldn’t comment.”

Walpole said of the Duke of Newcastle during the French and Indian Wars, (fits Obummer to a tee) “He had a feverish craving for place and power, joined to a total unfitness for both.

He was an adept in personal politics, and was so busied with the arts of winning and keeping office that he had no leisure, even if he had the ability, for the higher work of government.

He was restless, quick in movement, rapid and confused in speech, lavish of worthless promises, always in a hurry and at once headlong, timid and rash.

A borrowed importance and real insignificance.

The perpetual air of a solicitor(lawyer, for those in Rio Linda) He had no pride but infinite self love.

He loved business immoderately, yet was only always doing it, never did it.

When left to himself, he always plunged into difficulties , and then shuddered for it’s consequences.

US Gov. Software Creates 'Fake People' on Social Networks to Promote Propoganda

The US government is offering private intelligence companies contracts to create software to manage "fake people" on social media sites and create the illusion of consensus on controversial issues.

The contract calls for the development of "Persona Management Software" which would help the user create and manage a variety of distinct fake profiles online. The job listing was discussed in recently leaked emails from the private security firm HBGary after an attack by internet activist last week.

Click here to view the government contract (PDF)

According to the contract, the software would "protect the identity of government agencies" by employing a number of false signals to convince users that the poster is in fact a real person. A single user could manage unique background information and status updates for up to 10 fake people from a single computer.

The software enables the government to shield its identity through a number of different methods including the ability to assign unique IP addresses to each persona and the ability to make it appear as though the user is posting from other locations around the world.

Included in HBGary's leaked emails was a government proposal for the government contract. The document describes how they would 'friend' real people on Facebook as a way to convey government messages. The document reads:

"Those names can be cross-referenced across Facebook, twitter, MySpace, and other social media services to collect information on each individual. Once enough information is collected this information can be used to gain access to these individuals social circles.

Even the most restrictive and security conscious of persons can be exploited. Through the targeting and information reconnaissance phase, a person’s hometown and high school will be revealed. An adversary can create a account at the same high school and year and find out people you went to high school with that do not have Facebook accounts, then create the account and send a friend request.

Under the mutual friend decision, which is where most people can be exploited, an adversary can look at a targets friend list if it is exposed and find a targets most socially promiscuous friends, the ones that have over 300-500 friends, friend them to develop mutual friends before sending a friend request to the target. To that end friend’s accounts can be compromised and used to post malicious material to a targets wall. When choosing to participate in social media an individual is only as protected as his/her weakest friend."

Other documents in the leaked emails include quotes from HBGary CEO Aaron Barr saying, "There are a variety of social media tricks we can use to add a level of realness to all fictitious personas... Using hashtags and gaming some location based check-in services we can make it appear as if a persona was actually at a conference and introduce himself/herself to key individuals as part of the exercise, as one example."

Additional emails between HBGary employees, usually originating from Barr, discuss the vulnerability social networking causes.

One employee wrote, "and now social networks are closing the gap between attacker and victim, to the point I just found (via linked-in) 112 females, wives of service men, all stationed at Hurlbert Field FL - in case you don't know this is where the CIA flies all their "private" airlines out of. What a damn joke - the U.S. is no longer the super power in cyber, and probably won't be in other areas soon."

Barr also predicted a steady rise in clandestine or secret government operations to stem the flow of sensitive information. "I would say there is going to be a resurgence of black ops in the coming year as decision makers settle with our inadequacies... Critical infrastructure, finance, defense industrial base, and government have rivers of unauthorized communications flowing from them and there are no real efforts to stop it."

The creation of internet propoganda software is only one of HBGary's controversial activities.

Oba-Hussein does not care about "we the people" nor our country just his personal POWER! Nor does he have the brains of anything but a thug Chicago "organizer" with which to understand the consequences of his narcissistic and moronic policies and actions. (VIDEO BELOW)

He has openly come out in favor of the Unions, accusing Wisconsin of union bashing without caring that the State (and under his management all of America) is broke and needs those "favored" Unions to return to the people their usurped powers, who are forced to pay them dues and thus pay for organized votes with which they disagree but union leaders prefer.

With Unions, workers are said to "have a voice" - but a voice with anyone EXCEPT the union leadership, which turns a deaf ear and uses force to compel their members into compliance. The "right to work" of our citizens means nothing to the unions. Nor to their self-stated organizer in chief Obama.

You cannot earn pay to feed your family unless you become their slaveys.

though 1,900 other guests, including many Africans, will attend the party,
leaving no place for the "racism" comments from the Obama leftists.

With Her Majesty’s reported orders about Michelle Obama, I cannot see the Obama clan risking the certain indignity of “arriving” uninvited.
(As some apparently think they might WANT to try)

Oba-Hussein's grandfather, who was a common servant to a British colonel in Kenya and an accused informant for the terrorist Mau Mau movement, certainly does not endear the Obamas to the British Monarchy - nor does the weird, vulgar grandson, or his equally socially uncouth wife, who was rude about Princess Diana (virtually calling her an overdressed “slut”) and both failed to behave properly with the British Monarchy last time they met.

Good and gracious manners still count for a lot in worldwide high society (little of it to still be found in the USA as we are not socially structured along the classical paths and our “high society” is not based on long standing family background, education, service to our country and cultural upbringing but our "nobility" or "upper class"  is based on how much money they have in the bank or happen to be an unpolished, sometimes barely educated but popular movie, sports or music star.

(Or a lying, thuggish, CLUELESS Community Organizer (now millionaire), whom even Venezuela's thug, Hugo Chavez, verbally disrespects and Iran's Ahmadi-Nejad mocks in a speech as "not knowing his own name". Low life seems an appropriate characterization.

Supremes to give eligibility case another look - Challenge to Obama getting 2nd conference before court

By Bob Unruh

In a stunning move, the U.S. Supreme Court has scheduled another "conference" on a legal challenge to Barack Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, but officials there are not answering questions about whether two justices given their jobs by Obama will participate.

The court has confirmed that it has distributed a petition for rehearing in the case brought by attorney John Hemenway on behalf of retired Col. Gregory Hollister and it will be the subject of a conference on March 4.

It was in January that the court denied, without comment, a request for a hearing on the arguments. But the attorney at the time had submitted a motion for Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, who were given their jobs by Obama, to recuse.

Should Obama ultimately be shown to have been ineligible for the office, his actions, including his appointments, at least would be open to challenge and question.

At the time, the Supreme Court acknowledged the "motion for recusal" but it changed it on official docketing pages to a "request." And it reportedly failed to respond to the motion.

Alan Note: The UNCONSITUTIONAL consideration that hearing the case and probably having to rule against Oba-Hussein (argument also used by Clinton appointed Federal District Judge David Carter to avoid allowing the case to proceed on merit) would create a national  crisis pales in the face of the destruction of America happening under his illegal and illegitimate presence in the Oval Office.

From which the Supreme Court has a duty to protect us! But has so far avoided as shown in the video!

Founder and Historian David Ramsay defines “natural born Citizen” in 1789

by Mario Apuzzo, Esq.

Historian David Ramsay (1749-1815)

In defining an Article II “natural born Citizen,” it is important to find any authority from the Founding period who may inform us how the Founders and Framers themselves defined the clause. Who else but a highly respected historian from the Founding period itself would be highly persuasive in telling us how the Founders and Framers defined a “natural born Citizen.” Such an important person is David Ramsay, who in 1789 wrote “A Dissertation on the Manners of Acquiring the Character and Privileges of a Citizen,” (1789) a very important and influential essay on defining a “natural born Citizen.”

Also a sidebar issue and comment on this:

This article needs to be read by EVERY Legislator in EVERY State and in the Federal Legislature so that States will STOP giving Citizenship to babies born in the USofA to Illegal Aliens. I have contended for over 25 years [when I worked for the Welfare System], that the States were misinterpreting the Constitution of the USofA when they allowed for the creation of “anchor babies.” David Ramsey explanation is clear and Constitutional. Every State in the USofA needs to stop the insidious practice of ignoring the meaning and intent of the US Constitution in order to grant citizenship to babies of Illegal Aliens who are obviously NOT “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” because they have broken the law by entering the USofA without regard to lawful means.

Sen. Jeff Sessions: “…Under your budget, the interest increases each year. It was $187 billion in 2009, under your proposal it increases to $844 billion”

Treasury Tim Geithner: “Senator, absolutely, it is an excessively high interest burden, it’s unsustainable”

Sessions: “Well it’s your plan. That’s the plan the President submitted.”

Geithner: “You’re absolutely right that with the president’s plan, even if Congress were to enact it, and even if Congress were to hold to it and reduce those deficits to three percent of GDP over the next five years, we would still be left with a very large interest burden and unsustainable obligations over time”

Sessions: “It’s not acceptable. I’m sorry, but that’s not a plan for winning the future, that’s a plan for losing the future…”

The House voted Thursday to dethrone nine White House “czars.”

Republicans successfully added an amendment to the continuing resolution that would leave President Barack Obama’s senior advisers on policy issues including health care, energy and others out of a job.

The vote was 249-179.

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) offered the amendment that blocks funding for various policy advisers to combat what he called “a very disturbing proliferation of czars” under Obama.

“These unappointed, unaccountable people who are literally running a shadow government, heading up these little fiefdoms that nobody can really seem to identify where they are or what they’re doing,” Scalise said Thursday. “But we do know that they’re wielding vast amounts of power.”

The jobs on the chopping block: White House-appointed advisers on health care, energy and climate, green jobs, urban affairs, the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention center, oversight of TARP executive compensation, diversity at the Federal Communications Commission and the auto industry manufacturing policy.

These so-called “czars” have been favorite targets of Republicans and conservative talk radio hosts, especially energy and climate adviser Carol Browner, who is leaving the administration.

“This is a person who’s continued to do things behind closed doors,” Scalise said of Browner.

GOP lawmakers assailed Browner’s office after a recent report showed that the White House rewrote crucial sections of an Interior Department report to suggest an independent group of scientists and engineers supported a six-month ban on offshore oil drilling.

“It was found out that it was the climate czar that actually doctored the president’s own scientific study to try to say that scientists that the president appointed recommended a moratorium on drilling,” Scalise said. “It turned out the scientists didn’t say that at all.”

A federal investigation found no wrongdoing by Browner.

But Scalise had harsh words to go around for the other “czars,” too. “There’s actually a czar out there trying to still impose a cap-and-trade regime,” he said of the special envoy for climate change, Todd Stern, who works at the State Department.

The amendment would defund the White House “green jobs czar” slot that has been vacant since Van Jones resigned in 2009 after reports surfaced that he signed a petition seeking an investigation into whether the U.S. government was behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

“The last green jobs czar we had left in disgrace because he expressed comments embracing communism and actually tried to blame the government, the American government, for September 11th attacks,” Scalise said.

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) welcomed Republicans’ use of what he called “gender neutral” language to describe the administration’s appointees.

“A large number of the czars would have been called czarinas in the old days,” Frank said. “So I appreciate the fact that we’ve gotten past sex stereotyping of people.”

And Frank blasted his colleagues for trying to fire Kenneth Feinberg, who was appointed to oversee payments and compensation plans for recipients of federal cash under the Troubled Asset Relief Program.

“This amendment would say to AIG and General Motors, and Chrysler and Ally – the financial company – no one will now be supervising what you do, and even though you haven’t yet paid back the federal government, there will be no enforcement of restrictions on your bonuses, no enforcement of restrictions on your compensation,” he said.

Scalise got 13 Democrats to vote for his amendment and it wasn't just the usual Blue Dogs: Dan Boren (Okla.), Ben Chandler (Ky.), Jerry Costello (Ill.), Henry Cuellar and Gene Green of Texas, Peter DeFazio (Ore.), Jim Matheson (Utah), Ed Pastor (Ariz.), Nick Rahall (W.Va.), Mike Ross (Ark.), and North Carolina's Heath Shuler, Mike McIntyre and Larry Kissell.

One Republican - Wisconsin's Reid Ribble - voted no.

My second letter of 18th January 2011 was again addressed to you with copies to your editorial team requesting a reply either from yourself or from any member of your editorial team. On 26th of January, I decided to make my final telephone call before writing this letter. I was connected to someone with the name of Paul Peachey who twice put the phone down on me.

I than decided to contact Miss. Denise Thompson in the chief editor’s office. She promised to investigate why I have not received any reply.
Later that day on January 26th 2011, I got a short formal E-mail from Mr. Imogen Haddon but none of the points in my previous E-mails were addressed.
Your article which offended me and many more people started with vindictive and hatful remarks.
You even seemed to find the Late Prince Ali-Reza's neighbours as well as the neighbourhood which he lived in, the type of car he drove or the secured window shutters of his apartment as topics for your sarcastic insults.

Here are the points in your news article which are misleading as well as misrepresentation of
the truth:
You wrote: "but to those who are within Iran's borders, the passing of the former Prince might
barely be worthy of comment". You than continue to say that: "If the family is honest with itself, it might want to consider this as possibility. The man who was once prince was driven to despair because he knew that he and all the Pahlavis remain despised in Iran today, not by the Ayatollahs who overthrow their father but by Iranians at large. If the Iranian exiles feel nostalgia for the days of the Shah, they are alone".
I don't know how you came to these inaccurate conclusions. That is if you did not make a
conscious decision to misinform your readers. The outpouring of your never ending animosity not only towards a young scholar who was only 12 years old when he left Iran and had nothing to do with the decision makings of the previous governments under his late father but indeed your hatred towards the dynasty that transformed Iranian's way of life is very apparent.
As for your comment that the death of the young prince was barely noticeable in Iran & whether
Pahlavis are despised by all in Iran or whether the Iranian exiles are alone in supporting the Pahlavis - the following are some facts that you should consider if you and your editorial team want to be honest with yourselves.
1: According to the Time Magazine of January 10th 2011, the death of the young prince was
received in Iran with great sadness. Al-Arabia reporting the reaction to the news from Iran by
saying that: 32 years after the fall of the Shah, the Pahlavi family remains as Iran's number one
family. Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times and others had similar stories all disagreeing
with your nonsense and lies.

On Monday January 24th VOA had a report on its web site confirming that inside Iran the people showed their sympathy in many different ways including throwing flowers in to the Caspian sea, where the ashes from the remains of the late prince (according to his will)
are to be scattered. We have confirmation from inside Iran.
2: For the past two weeks, the Iranian exile TV channels and radio stations received endless calls from all corners of Iran many to upset to speak. The Internet sites from both inside and outside Iran were full of sympathy messages for the Pahlavi family. Just one visit to YOU TUBE and the social networking sites such as Facebooks will reflects the mood of the Iranians.

The death of the young Prince resembled the tragic death of Neda in the hands of the Murderers goons of the British backed Ayatollahs on 20th of June 2009.
Visit the YOUTUBE links below on the reactions to Prince Ali-Reza Pahlavi's death in Iran
& else where. The links below will contradict your baseless claim that Pahlavis are despised by
all Iranians inside.

Brave lady speaks, Another Example Of Public Support For The Shah. This clip is at
least two years old: (she bravely repeats "Javid Shah = Long Live the Shah"

3: On the morning of January 6th, I had at least 12 telephone calls from inside Iran from distressed people who knew me, questioning me about the details of this tragic news and saying how fast the news was received inside Iran and how the mood of the people changed from shock to sorrow.
You wrote: "If the members of this diminishing family abhor what Iran is today-an unforgiving
Islamic theocracy built in part upon hatred it has bestowed on the US and its western allies - they know that it was they who ripened Iran for the event of 1979 that made it so. It was the megalomania of the Shah that enabled Ayatollah Khomeini to lead the revolution and mark the end of centuries of monarchic rule in Persia with celebration".

4: The abhorrence displayed in response to the crimes of the Mullahs by the Pahlavi family is shared by all Iranians but the excesses of this brutal regime cannot be blamed on the late modernizer Shah of Iran.
The Pahlavis have transformed Iran making that country the envy of the enemies such as you in Britain while bringing the respect and the admiration of the world at large.

People were going to Iran not leaving it yet since the Shah left, 7 million Iranians became refugees all over the world. We lived 52 years under the Pahlavis not knowing what war, sanctions, rationing, exile,, mass execution public stoning were.

Iran's currency was the 9th in the list of the world currencies. Iran under the late Shah had the 5th strongest army in the world but never saw a need to go to war with any country.

Iran was loaning to the World Bank and investing heavily in some of the world's best industries.

During the late Shah we had shortage of workers not work.

Iran Air was another success story surpassing the entire American and the European airlines. For at least ten years Iran Air was the second best airline after the Australian Qantas
Air Lines. (Iran Air was ranked second best only to Qantas as the world’s safest airline and
the reason for Iran Air becoming the second was due to the fact that Qantas was in business much longer than Iran Air. See the link below for details).

Iran's universities were attracting foreign students and Iran became a progressive & promising country like never before. That was not what the greedy mean British could tolerate as Anthony Parsons the former British Ambassador to Iran once said:

"The Shah's attempt to modernize Iran was wrong & Iran's place in the world should not be higher than its neighbouring Afghanistan".
5: The Shah's fast race to make Iran the second Japan of the Middle East, a country politically and economically independent and His Late Majesty's government’s refusal to renew the expiring 25 year old oil contact of 1954 with the western consortium (which funnily enough was due to expire in 1979!!!) prompted the USA & Britain to take action against the modernizer monarch. So in a sense yes, it was the Shah's ambitious plans for the advancement of Iran which caused his downfall.

Contrary to your claim, the west never supported the Shah. The disgraceful & unforgettable treatment of the western media, specially the British & the Americans before, during and even after his fall is testimony to this claim.

32-years after his death, you have not stopped your campaign of terror and demonization of the
late Shah and his family, while allowing the Mullahs daily crimes to go virtually unreported.
In support of this compelling fact that the Mullahs were supported by Britain, let me remind you of Dr Shapour Bakhtiar, Iran's last legal Prime Minister under the Shah who in a meeting with a group of Iranians in Los Angeles in 1984 said: "Khomeini & the Mullahs are tools and the elements of Britain in Iran, used by that country any time they want to harm and punish the Iranian nation".
Dr. Bakhtiar himself paid the price for candidly exposing the Mullahs and their British backers. He was butchered to death by the Mullah's agents at his home in Paris on 6th of August 1991.
See Dr. Bakhtiar's comments in LA in 1984, on the subject of British support for the terrorist Mullahs. (YOUTUBE Min: 2.34 to 3.05):
You wrote: “Ali Reza knew that the efforts of his brother in Washington D. C. were misbegotten”
6: But how much did you know about Prince Ali Reza personally and how many times did you
speak to or interview the late Prince to come to such conclusion? I do not think you have ever met the Prince. Are you not misleading your readers by acting as if you knew the Prince personally and that you were qualifed to speak on his behalf or even about him?

You wrote: "The crimes of the kings of Iran have blackened the pages of history, it is the kings
of Iran that have constantly ordered massacres of their own people".
7: You must be in full agreement with Khomeini when you quoted him and I guess you could not find anyone more honest more credible & more trusted than that mass genocidal murderer when referring to the topics such as human rights in Iran.
In my E-mail of 11th of January 2011, I have asked you to give us two examples of the Shah's crimes yet it seems that you are no different to snakes spewing your venom and disappearing fast.

Khomeini’s remarks were idiotic and preposterous & your reference to his baseless and unfounded lies is shameful.

Perhaps you did not bother to research enough about the life of the late Shah or little you know that your systematic character assassination was leveled at a benevolent king who twice pardoned his would be assassins. Parviz Nikkhah was one of them who in April of 1965 failed to carry his assassination attempt. The late Shah pardoned him and other co-conspirators in the failed assassination attempts of 1949 & 1965.
It is also very obvious that you did not bother to research about the life of Khomeini either. Or else you would not have used the vindictive lies of such mass murderer who had no regards for human rights as evidence for your character assassination of the late Shah of Iran.

(Note: formatting of text in archival articles has been removed to reduce files sizes, so reading them is a long SINGLE paragraph, which contains all the information but not separated into paragraphs as was the original. The content value makes this annoyance well worth accepting)

Or perhaps you are aware of Khomeini & his successor’s crimes but used his shameful lies regardless.

You conveniently and shamefully have repeated the untrue remarks made by Khomeini who remains as one of the worst killers in Iran's entire history. Did you not know that it was Khomeini who in 1989 and in a the short period of two to three weeks ordered the mass execution of more than 18000 to 22000 MKO members held in Iran's prisons?

Read what a lunatic Khomeini was through his own writings and books and realize to what  extent you are comparing a Monarch, who loved his country to a man who when asked three times what he felt about returning to Iran, responded ON CAMERA with "nothing".

Did you not know that since the beginning of this year OFFICIAL figures alone that more than 195 people were executed in Iran? Did you not know that according to Mr. Kenneth
Timmerman and others monitoring the events in Iran, in the past two weeks alone one Iranian was hanged every 8 to 10 hours ?
You wrote: and ended your spiteful article by the following remarks: "Ali Reza Pahlavi saw no
end to this new Iran. That is the legacy of his blood. Only through death he could escape it".
You must be a mind reader even though you never talked to the late prince to come such harsh
conclusion on his behalf. In my E-mail of January 18th, I particularly requested a reply from you and again you declined.
What kind of demon has possessed your life to be so evil and unjust toward anyone meeting such tragic end? What Christian value & teachings allows you to be so hateful towards a young scholar who did commit no crime and wished no ill even for his worst enemies?

What personal gain is contained in insulting not only the grieving Pahlavi family but indeed offending millions of Iranians? I feel powerless to describe your pettiness. Whether you wrote what you wrote because of the never ending British grievances towards our sainted monarch or whether you were commissioned by the Islamic Republic to be so nasty, or whether you wrote that article because your hatred for the Pahlavi dynasty is institutionalised in Britain, the Islamic Republic of Iran could not have done a better job than what you did for them.
8: As for whether the Shah & the Pahvis are despised by the Iranians at large or not, one thing is already well established. Take a trip to the heavenly Mullah's Iran that Britain & America imposed on 75 Million Iranians in 1979.

Whether you travel in a taxi, shopping or waiting in a train & metro station you cannot help but constantly hearing the following comments: "GOD BLESS HIS SOUL" (in Iranian: AAN KHODAA BIYAAMORZ) and "MAY LIGHT SHINE ON HIS GRAVE" (In Iranian: NOOR BE GHABRASH BEBAARAD). These are amongst many tributes that one hears everyday
in Iran.

The uttered tributes are most certainly not reserved for Mosadegh or Khomeini but indeed for
the late modernizer Shah Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi the father of modern of Iran.
If you did not already know and would like to know who really is despised by almost all Iranians
inside Iran? I must inform you that Britain for its involvement in the overthrow of the Shah & imposing their bulldozer Khomeini is the most despised country in Iran.

We Iranians will never forget or forgive your active role in chopping Iran to pieces during the Qajar dynasty, the stealing of our oil, your unwarranted invasion & occupation of our defenseless & neutral country during the two world wars.

The overthrow of Reza Shah the Great in 1942, the separation of Bahrain in January of 1970 and the overthrow of the modernizer Shah Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi in 1979. Your continued support and appeasement of the Mullah's murderous regime as well as your commitment to oppose regime change in Iran in the past 32 years and your contributions to our sufferings are amongst the many reasons why the Brits are the most undesired people in Iran.

As for how true or false is this claim your rude awakening will come in that trip.

Shortly I will be lodging a complaint to the British Press Complaint Commission
Mohammad-Reza Pardisan, London.

Every 8 to 10 hours, one  Iranian is hanged in Islamic prisons but the real number of executions, which include being taken out into the desert and cruelly shot - slowly, painfully, starting at the feet, aiming at breaking bone, up the legs, knees, all the way up - expressly AVOIDING any lethal spots to prolong the torture adds hundreds to these "OFFICIAL"  figures.

Plus add what goes on - unreported in over 100 "unofficial" prisons, which report to no central authority but whose existence has been confirmed by the Director of Islamic Iran's Prisons to explain why he does not have control of all prisons.

Note: Obama has asked visas granted  for 80,000 Moslems to be imported, lodged, fed and paid an income into the USA at tax payer expense! Palestinians prominently the majority among them.

BILINGUAL - Names and rank in English and Persian with additional comment in Persian

WHILE OBA-HUSSEIN-ABDULLAH stays almost silent (comparatively) about his Islamic buddies in Iran suppressing their populace as recently as YESTERDAY - compared to his urging the departure of Mubarak in Egypt, the Mullah "parliament" - the poster child of Iran's so-called democratic freedom claims, erupts in a call for the death of the two main Green Movement leaders, Moussavi and Karrubi.

Remember that the this (p)resident in the White House, Oba-Hussein is a Sunni Moslem by background from both fathers (Kenyan and Indonesian) and like his mentor King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia considers the Iranian Shia sect not as Moslems but as unbelievers and Islam demands killing infidels. Thus the jabs at Islamic Iran suit his personal Moslem preferences and also make him appear to be even handed.

BTW in Indonesia, followers of the Ahmadi Moslem sect are being slaughtered as we speak by the Sunnis. A bit like Catholics slaughtering not just Protestants but those following a specific denomination of Christianity.

The frenzied parliamentarian shouts in Persian are "death to Moussavi" and "death to Karrubi". What about all this does Oba-Hussein support beyond some mealy mouthed utterings by him and Hilary Clinton - and a couple of million dollars to fund a double edged sword of Twitter and Facebook in Persian and Arabic.

Note: the Arabic social networks leading to more of our Arab allies being thrown under the Oba-Hussein bus without doing much to the Persian populist movement, since Iran has contracts with German Siemens (control and censoring), plus Chinese and Russian and other high tech software and harware providers to virtually block anything the State Department can throw at them. Except some proxies that can circumvent some of the obstacles the Mullahs put in place.

Including obstacles like the many hundreds of new Mullah government employees - all techies - whose only job is to monitor, trace, censor and block communications.

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and King Abdullah of Jordan
"Abdullah" is also Obama's lesser known other middle name!

Finally someone speaks up for the late Shah!

Iran’s Shah had no special interest in monetary wealth

Published: February 8 2011
From Mr Robert F. Armao.

Sir, I am writing to correct inaccuracies in “Reforms focus on recovering rogue leaders’ assets” (January 26).

The graphic asserts that the late Shah of Iran stole Iranian government assets valued at $35bn and that the US froze assets of the Shah valued at $20m.

The reported gross revenues of the government of Iran during the reign of the Shah were approximately $120bn, with disbursements for defence, social welfare and infrastructure, making it impossible that $35bn was directed solely to the Shah.

In an effort to vilify the Shah, representatives and supporters of the Islamic Republic have continued to increase the value of the assets of the Shah and his family. Based on the fact that the Islamic government had all the original financial records of the Shah’s government, they were well aware that no such assets were removed from Iran during the Shah’s reign.

This despite the fact no such funds were ever located – even after the use of forensic accountants and other investigators – in any country. The Shah, his family and related entities prevailed in each legal action (including the US and Switzerland) initiated by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Islamic Republic has consistently maintained that the multi-billion US dollar assets of the Pahlavi Foundation of Iran are, in fact, owned by the Shah of Iran and his family.

In fact, the Pahlavi Foundation was controlled by the government of Iran and then the Islamic Republic, and remains so today.

Before his departure from Iran in 1979 and through to the end of his life, I served as senior adviser to the Shah and to his family. I can attest to the fact that the Shah had no particular interest in monetary wealth. His life-long concern was for the well-being of the citizens of Iran.

Robert F. Armao,
New York, NY, US

ALAN NOTE: As someone who also had access to some confidential royal information, the late-Shah had $90 Million (with an M not a B) of personal funds (through legal personal overseas investments over decades) on hand when he left Iran and considering the DAILY expenses of some $10,000 on security, staff etc., this does not go a long way and makes his millionaire status rather a "poor man level" compared to the millionaires who abound.

He could have transfered about $3.5 BILLION of the Pahlavi Foundation funds to himself overseas but refused to touch it saying the money belonged to the Iranian people, even though the funds came about and grew through his good judgement calls in investing it for the nation.

Obama insists those who hate him (Obama) do so because they  not know him. For those of us who knew the late Shah, this applies forcefully and those who criticized the Shah knew very little of his aspirations to bring Iran into the modern world and his actions to achieve this.

I remember openly confronting Prime Minister Amir Abbas Hoveyda, a friend of mine, with not sharing the improvements His Majesty and he had brought into being over the 13-years that Hoveyda had held his post, leaving the populace totally in the dark of the immense progress the country was enjoying.

With typical Aquarian (February 18th) lofty idealism, he replied: "we are doing what we are supposed to be doing and it is not the role of the government to blow its own trumpet".

Sadly this lack of public information made opposing the Marxist-Islamic Soviet -Khomeini uprising virtually impossible for those of us who tried. There was almost no tangible previously shared information  available to counter the lies and disinformation used against the Monarchy.

CONFLUENCE OF REVOLUTION DATES (Largely ignored except by Fox and Beck)

Lost in the flood of news coverage of Egypt's revolution and setting aside President Mubarak, is today coincides with the anniversary of Islamic Regime of Iran's Khomeini revolution in 1979!

By the way, with Google Executive, Ghonem, claiming credit in using Google/Facebook to incite and organize the Egyptian uprising, in effect mostly in favor of the Moslem Brotherhood, I suppose the AntiMullah site should not be astonished at how deeply Google "search-filter-bots" settings  have worked to bury AntiMullah articles. There was a slight relaxation for short period of a mere week or two but they are at it again.

Don't go so far over the top to help Islamic movements (often promoted from inside the White House) to gain power and THEN  when the time comes,  suppress you as a nuisance to them.

Already Homeland Security has put in place ways of confiscating Google under their weird self-assigned powers they have started using on others.

You may have senior "embeds" inside the White House offices but Oba-Hussein will not be there forever - NOR can you count on him not to turn on you when push comes to shove and you get "thrown under the bus" like so many of his allies have been. Both inside the USA or overseas.

While the pro-Islamic Oba-Hussein regime lambasted the SECULAR Mubarak administration for his repression of his people, how eerily silent it is on what the ISLAMIC regime of Iran has done REPEATEDLY to MANGLE their people into a bloody pulp - far beyond suppression or repression. The key ruthless crowd control forces, the Bassiji are openly called Suppression Forces inside Iran as they work with the IRGC (Revolutionary Guard) to beat, maim or kill, arrest then torture to death anyone who dares appear against the Mullahs.

After declaring a day of martial law, Ahmadi-Nejad flooded the streets on Friday  (Iran's Sunday equivalent) with pro-regime demonstrators to overwhelm any anti-regime efforts to protest against the Mullahs, and threatened very harsh treatment of anyone who appeared in protest to his government.

Sporadic anti-regime gatherings occurrred anyway today in Iran but none of the videos have found a place on the Egypt crowded news scene. Nor with the Mullahs largely blocking the Internet, phones and social networks, little is coming out of the black hole they created.

Too busy protecting and promoting the Moslem Brothehood in Egypt, Oba-Hussein has not even uttered a chirp of criticism nor disapproval about Iran.

And with them blocking Persian language BBC transmissions into Iran not much reliable news is coming in. Mostly because they are terrified "unedited" information on successful demonstrations in Egypt will reach the ears of the populace and bring their deep seated frustrations boiling into Iranian streets.

However, it is not over. The Iranian Green Movement is organizing a march within the next couple of days and several of their leaders have openly pronounced support for the demonstrations in Egypt as a path to freedom. Actually against themselves since this movment wants to adjust/change the leadership of Islamic Iran not remove Islam!

Ironically, the Mullahs also support the protests because they have opened the way for a complete take over by Islam (upon examination of tenets there is only a radical kind) in a cascade of regional "days of rage", starting with Bahrain tomorrow,  Libya a couple of days later and Algeria the rest of the month.

Meanwhile, in Iran, using a page from the Palestinian 'intifada" and recently Egypt, demonstrators now propose Iranian protesters begin throwing rocks at armed regime suppression forces and burning parts of the bazaar to hurt the economy (much of which belongs to the Mullahs or their surrogates).

(editing, emphasis and picture by AntiMullah)

This  is a huge lesson in political culture. It also shows just how bad the media coverage has been.

Mubarak is not resigning. He’s managing the “reform” process. He is appointing a committee to study constitutional changes. He will decide when there are elections. He is going to “consider” changing the emergency law.

He basically said: I am an Arab warrior, not a community organizer. That speech should be required reading for anyone who wants to understand the Middle East.
This is not over yet. There has been no revolution so far, but the protesters are going to freak out. If Obama has been interpreted as applauding real and major change, either he didn’t know what Mubarak was going to say or he is going to look like a total fool.

When Mubarak said he won’t accept outside advice, that was a direct slap at Obama. Can you imagine the expression on Obama’s face as he watched the speech after being told by his CIA intelligence boss Paneta that Mubarak resigned?

After Obama made a speech about how the youth had forced change?

If I had to summarize it, tabloid-style, I’d say: “Mubarak to Obama: Drop Dead!“

The regime is not giving in — Mubarak will leave office, perhaps in September, but the regime will fight on. The speech was the equivalent of Charles Bronson or Clint Eastwood saying: Come and get me!

Of course, we should not forget that this is a dictator refusing to step down. Mubarak and the army knew that this would inflame the crowd. The army would not have agreed to this unless it was willing to deal with the consequences.

Let's see what also clueless National Security Director Clapper's "secular" (???) Moslem Brotherhood will be doing Friday after flooding Cairo and other cities with their supporters, gathered then launched from MOSQUES.

Iran 1979 replay?
