Rafsanjani, perhaps the most powerful cleric in Iran, has for long been suspected to be a Bi-sexual. I am not attributing this to him being an Ayatollah who is incapable of growing facial hair (see his photos). Since the beginning of the revolution there have been stories circulating about Rafsanjani's seminary years in religious city of Qom. In fact there was a terror bombing in London in 1986 that destroyed the office and killed the son of a prominent Iranian actor and film maker: Reza Fazeli who had made a film about Ayatollahs in Iran called "Variteye Akhoundi" which means Variety of Clergymen. The film at a point depicted Rafsanjani going into a room to have sex with another clergyman.
